Logs for cachingcuz

07-Aug-23
After camping near the rocks we took the doggos for a walk. Shimmied under the pipe after walking through some old ruins and found the cache hidden in plain sight. TNLN.

Found after a couple of hairy moments with muggles riding by. TFTC.

Cobwebs AND a lizard guarding. Lord Richard would not have liked this one. Had to seclude myself while a group of muggles ambled by. TFTC.

Picked the wrong cliff but got there in the end. TFTC.

Great view. Well worth the climb even though I knew the answer.

Nice easy one for me TFTC!

OMG Terrifying for me, but finally found it. TFT SCARY C.

Found it but there were no writing implements. Of course I should have been more prepared. I camped here with my school a long time ago. Had no idea of the site's significance. TFTC.

What a great spot to get back into it. TNLN. TFTC!

Lots of muggles about building a path today. Couldn't get anywhere near. Will try again tomorrow.

Revisited this site to drop off a couple of trackables that I picked up on holiday in the UK. Apologies for holding onto these, but I've been without a GPS device on and off since (long, boring story). In the end, I went back to the best site I know near home to get both objects back on their way again. TFTC.

Big Grin This one's for LordRichard and LadyJulie, who failed to find it on a visit to WA this year! A nice spot with lots of interesting walks nearby. TNLN. TFTC.

This was a great spot for a cache. I live in Bassendean and had no idea this park was here, despite walking past it on a number of occasions. Was scratching my head for a couple of seconds when I came across it, but not for long. Look out for the building being painstakingly put together on the other side of the road after you continue along the path for a while. TNLN. TFTC!

Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble. I had no idea how nervous I'd be about my first cache alone. I think the description coupled with my knowledge of Jubilee Reserve made me a bit sensitive to the hordes of muggles I was expecting to find. At the end of the day though, the cache was in a quiet corner of the park and I was in and out like greased weazel pooh without anyone seeing. I resisted the urge to double back and check on it as I'm sure that would attract attention if anyone was passing by. TNLNSL. TFTC......my first in Oz!
