had a good look, noticed some pencils on the ground near the bin so presumed something has happened to this cache 

very dismal indeed, didn't getting out of the car as great big gates are locked and the whole place closed. I czn not get my head around a major tourist ttrction of thd area being closed, fair enough close the slides but the whole area? Pathetic.

Found after a small search signed and ventured on along the beach for walk. TFTC
Note to owner cache needs maintanance, the container is badly weather effected and contents wet.

had a good look but no luck, weather was not on our side with raining starting again so had to give up 

Very good, loved this gc, well hidden but in plain view, had us looking around for a while then bingo, little bit of help from scratches with thanks definitly a favourite. TFTC 

found with scratches, have been here three times before but went past due to tourist snapping themselves and realised thatvwith some stealth could have found cache with others near by. TFTC 

nice find, met another gcer here and went on to a couple more gc's together and finished off the afternoon in a very nice way also picked up travel bug, TFTC 

interesting bit of history here that we learnt about today TFTC 

Had a very nice ride in from the suggested waypoint and after the GC we walked around the rocks and bush behind, beautiful area well worth spending time there. TFTC

We will have to log no find for this one. After spending a fair bit of time looking around the sanding room area, we went down along the river and the gps was taking up some cliffs through some thick rugged terrain, so we hiked around the top side and the gps wanted to take us down the cliff, as it was getting latish in the day we decided to return another day with more time and loop the bluff as well.  

Hi Red Tag, Thanks for this cache, this certainly is a favorite of ours, we rode our bikes along the sandy track and down to the first fork where we hiked the rest of the journey and lunched at the cave with an owl watching from a near by tree whom has a nest in the above cliff. We love that this cache took us into places that we would never had ventured to, has an adventurous route to tackle and shows some spectacular formations of nature. TFTC

Thanks for placing this cache in a spot that has been driven passed for years, we parked at the info and rode our bikes in, well worth the effort for such a lovely waterfall and spot for lunch. Container in good condition and well hidden. TFTC  

Third time lucky, not that hard when you see what you are doing, we agree with "far from grey" on this one TFTC

did we read too much into the clue ? but had to give up after looking every where tfth we enjoyed riding along the shore 

thanks for taking us up the hill a decent effort on our bikes rewarded with a fantastic view tftc  

plenty of likeley places for this gc but after reading logs and no find decided to give a miss but thanks for taking us to this park a place we would never of visited  

had a good search but did not venture into prickles and I notice older an log says prickly find, also had trouble with gps jumping about, having said that tfth as we did enjoy the structual work and landscaping work that has been done and really would not apreciate it without actually being there so even though we did not find gc achieved its goal

The last gc in Bicheno for us to find, every visit had muggles creeping about every where, today we finally got a chance, like some of the comments say it is a few metres off gz but then not many are exact, SL and TFTC  

had us looking around for a while before noticing what is not usually there, fantastic effort to the geocacher very tricky and well concealed. Dropped off Eli the Elephant to continue her journey. TFTC
