We've been holidaying in Taupo for years, and never knew these gardens existed! Had a fantastic time wandering around - an absolutely gorgeous spot. TFTC.
Lots of people enjoying the hot springs - thankfully none around the cache area making it an easy search & replace. TFTC
Found this on the return walk, dropped off Symbology Geocoin - hopefully an intrepid tourist will collect soon to continue it's merry way around the world! TFTC

This was the first time I'd visited this particular area of the gardens - absolutely lovely! Muggles everywhere, so stealth was required.

Decided to carry on and make this cache No. 7 for the day while in the area - nice easy find, thanks.
The hint made this an easy find - although it was a bit of a slip n' slide retrieving the cache!

Nice easy puzzle and a pleasant walk to find the cache. Had to pull the ole 'untied shoelace' routine when some muggles appeared, but the ruse was effective. TFTC
Our GPS kept putting us in the wrong spot, but we eventually found it with a bit of help from KiwiGraeme. TFTC
It took a bit of scrambling around the hillside until I spotted a likely looking tree and found the carefully stashed cache. We enjoyed our walk around this park LNTN TFTC.

Enjoyed working out the puzzle, and then it was a nice easy find. TFTC
The third of four caches found this evening - just on dusk and no-one else around. This was a new area for me - have never before ventured north of the bridge.

Found easy peasy - looks like some foliage has been cut away from the area as it is quite exposed.

Decided to take an old hard-drive apart to ensure the necessary tool would be sufficiently strong...well worth the effort too, as we successfully diffused the bomb without detection. Muggles everywhere we looked; were grateful for tree cover.

Finally got an opportunity to hunt this one down, having solved the puzzle a couple of weeks ago.
An easy find but wasn't too thrilled at the flipping enormous spider resting on the cache!

Fifi says it all in log below...eventually found the log cleverly twisted into the role on the swing, and have now moved on to....nah, not telling!!!

Man this was tricky! Searched for ages but came up with absolutely nothing.

Found it after a few minutes of searching - our GPS got a bit confused as to which direction was North!
