I cycle over this bridge at least once a week but haven't been caching for some time. Found it between muggles passing by.

FYI for those that don't already know, this bridge is part of a longer bridge that was originally at BlueScope Steel (Formerly Lysaghts and BHP) in Hastings. The other part of the bridge is located on another bike track in Hastings where GC1X93R is located. The bridge was used as a pedestrian bridge to access the Cold Strip Plant. It was up on gantries, about 6 metres above a roadway with stairs at each end. Nobody actually used the bridge, everyone used the crossing below it. Eventually one of the large forklifts drove beneath it with the mast raised too high and ripped it from its foundations. The bridge was then cut up and each part relocted to their current positions. It's seen more traffic now than it ever did in its former life.

I haven't been geocaching for some months. Downloaded a few new ones in the local region into my GPS and set out on my push bike to find them.
It turns out this one is only 270m from my house. I did a "Ride By" during the day, but too many muggles about. Grabbed the torch and went back there at 9:30pm and found it.
Thanks for the cache djillusions24.

Found it while on a bike ride around the area.

We had a bit of trouble accessing the track due to fallen trees over parts of the track and the boardwalk, following overnight storms that occurred across most of Victoria. However the storms also bought rain.... lots of rain, so the nearby waterfall was flowing well.
A fallen tree missed GZ by about 1 metre, found the cache just outside the reach of what were the top branches of the fallen tree.
Took along some family members who'd never been caching before. They were intrigued and most impressed... maybe future members of this growing passtime!
Nice area, and only a few minutes away from the in-laws house.

Thanks for the cache Muzza.

Stopped off during a fishing trip with a mate and his dog. It was a chilly day there, but the dog was stoked to get out of the boat for a run. It took a bit of finding (we almost gave up) as I only had the coordinates, but no other clues with me. TFTC.

Nice easy cache, and a nice walk in the bush.
TFTC.

Couldn't find it without the clue, GZ was a long way off. No prob once I looked at the clue.
Nice easy ride in with the mountain bike. Have driven past the start of the track heaps of times, but have never taken the time to go down it.

Had to look at the clue to find it...
Nice walk through this area. I live nearby and didn't know this area was open to the public.
TNLN, TFTC.

Mmmmm.... didn't read about this one before I went looking. I only found the small tin in the zip lock, was unaware that there was another cache until I read other people's logs.
GPSr took us pretty well to the spot. TFTC

What a view.
I attended the school in the area below and had looked up at that hill many times, wondering what the view would be like from up there. I intended to find my way up there "one day" but never did. I had since forgotten about it, and would have never visited the area if your cache hadn't have led us there.
Many thanks.

We've only been Geocaching for a couple of days (this was the wife's first trip). We walked aimlessly with an old Garmin eTrex and my phone's GPS both disagreeing over which way to go due to tree coverage. Determined to find it, we drove to Frankston to spend a Xmas gift voucher on a more sensitive eTrex-H, only to find the Xmas rush had cleaned the shops out. Several visits to Mornington stores later we found one. Back in the bush we went, and this time we found it. Now we're both hooked.
A lovely spot to visit. TFTC.

My first find!!!! Smile
I had been meaning to check out this "geocaching" thing for some time and started reading the website..... a short time later I was staring at the cache, grinning from ear to ear and instantly hooked. This looks like great fun.
Unfortunately it was getting dark at the time, so I had to wait untill the next morning to search for more caches.
