Number 2 on a morning of 7, man I love geocaching! TNLN TFTC.

Number 3 of 7 today, excellent spot, saw heaps of poo, and a REALLY BIG Kangaroo! TNLN TFTC.

Lucky last of 7 this morning, took a bit but geokid found it. TNLN TFTC

Number 4 of 7 this morning, slipped away from all the poo at the last cache......to yet another great spot, awesome. TNLN TFTC.

HOORAH! Well..................on a revisit to look for my ring, found WP4, the cache AND MY RING!

TNLN, but will drop in a TB this week as I live about 75m from this bugger.

Ahhh geocaching.......why did i neglect you for so long!

The DR is back!

Welcome back to caching DR after three years absentia, with a DNF.......

Found the first three waypoints after a bit, fourth eluded me....then noticed I'd lost my wedding ring..spent the next hour retracing every damn rock I'd turned over!

NOT HAPPY DOCTOR! If anyone comes across a white-gold wedding band please drop me a line!

Grrrrrrrrrrr.

06-May-07
Scrabbled around a bit and found this one eventually, given the ton of rubbish laying around, it was well camouflaged!

Nice view of the prison being built - yuk!

Thanks for the cache, cheers DR Z.

Finally got around to doing this one, spotted two possible cachers on the way in, said hello and hung around the gz for a chat(not sure if that's correct protocol - havent encountered any other cachers in the wild yet), however they disappeared. Ahh well, the DR enjoyed this one - flat tyre, cow pats and all!

TNLN, thanks for the cache, DR Z.

29-Apr-07
Surprised to see this one pop up, 100m from the DR's front door, had a cache already to go up here for my first hide!

Ahhh well, glad to see some cachers will be visiting this lovely spot, watch out for the Dr's yappy dogs when parking your car!

TNLN, cheers for the cache. DR Z.

Nice little find on my MTB in the rain, contents were slightly damp, attempted to dry it out a bit.

Similiar to Eynowd, got 2k's away before I realised I'd left my sunnies behind.

Nice hide, cheers for the cache. DR Z.

2nd go for the DR on this one, this time in the rain, which has helped bed it in even better! Great hide..

Cheers for the cache, DR Z.

25-Apr-07
Wandered up here on ANZAC day for a look after the demise of Macarthurs Park, still a nice spot.

Cheers for the cache!

Picked this one up on an ANZAC day jaunt around Isaacs ridge. Ridden through here heaps of times and never stopped to look, lovely.

TNLN, cheers for the cache, DR Z.

Felt StevenWill's pain with this one, but the DR's mental prowess came through in the end (he got lucky!). Thanks again to Tankengine for a beauty!

Cheers for the cache, DR Z.

This one had me miffed, even found Tealby's note, wish it had been that easy! Defeated the DR headed off to do Farrer Fringe, which got the brain going... On the way back, I walked straight to the spot and quietly berated myself! A great hide Teably.

TNLN, cheers for the cache, DR Z.

Nice hike up to this one, loved the leanto/shanty built by kids on the way, it started to rain so I sheltered briefly under their tarp, thanks kids!

TNLN, cheers for the cache, DR Z.

Another find on my ANZAC day wanders, hiked up the downhill mountian bike track to the cache, then pretended I was on my MTB on the way back down, jumps are so much easier with no bike to fall off!

TNLN, cheers for the cache, DR Z.

What a fascinating carving, thanks for bringing me to somewhere I would have never seen if not for geocaching!

Nice work, cheers for the cache, DR Z.

DNF for the doctor on this one....on ANZAC day as well! The DR will be back. Cheers!

Missed this one last time, no probs this time on a drizzly ANZAC morning after the dawn service.

Cheers for the cache, DR Z.

Lovely find after a bit of scrambling around. Nice spot down here, a good one for a 50th find, huzzah!

Cheers for the cache, TNLN.
Dr Z.

Nice find and good spot for a rest, the geo-missus thought this was very appropriately named, given the amount of complaining going on (we were on one of my "short bike rides" heh, heh!)

Cheers for the cache, TNLN

Found this one on a very cold Easter Friday.

A lovely view even with all the rain!

Cheers!

28-Jan-07
A quick diversion from the National MTB championships to pick up this one, an emotional place to be sure.

Cheers for the cache.

Wandered up to pick this one up whilst spectating at the National MTB Champs. A lovely spot, will be back up here on the MTB when the new trails open tomorrow.

TNLN Cheers for the cache.

Nice one! Geokids loved this one, cheers to Tankengine for the cache. TNLN.

First of 3 tankengine's today, geokids straight over to the play equipment, Dr Z sat and looked, walked around a bit, sat down again, went to talk to the kids, came back, sat down and there it was! Kids had a nice long play. Thanks Tankengine for a real beauty!

Ouch, poor tree.....another good one for the kids as indicated. Thanks Tankengine, pity all the cool play equipment has also gone around here.

TNLN

No luck for the Dr today, but he will be back, even the geokids missed this one!

I too was distracted by surrounding objects, close to moving on when ta-dah! The rat trap was sprung, 2nd for the arvo, thanks again to Tealby for the great cache!

1st for the arvo on the way home from work, love these containers (no sqealing this time)!

Cheers to Tealby for the cache.

An excellent hide, picked it up on the way to work. I have been meaning to come and have a look here for ages (had the cray computer in the camelback again - lucky).

TNLN

Cheers for the cache!

Flip that little flag up on the side of the mail-box, there is more mail! Loved this one, picked out a great postcard straight away. Thanks again to Tealby, number 3 for the arvo, 1 to go (up another hill...arggh!)

Cache, though its a well hidden spot, was exposed. On the re-hide I've covered it back up with a fair bit of bark and debris.

Last for the arvo @ 1730, another great Tankengine spot, still a bit hazy today.

Ack! If I'd read the logs I might have been prepared for this!
I'm sure my big girly squeal had all nearby wondering what was going on!

Cheers for the cache!

07-Jan-07
After hunting around the original coords and uncovering two VERY large red-backs, geo-daughter noticed the updated info, DOH! Wandered over and tried to be very covert in my bright yellow T-shirt, ahhh well!

Cheers for the cache!

TNLN

Nice little wander to start off the morning hunt. Geo-son was very impressed by the jumps nearby. Will be back on the bike to this area.

Cheers for the cache!

Pulled up in the car park, next to a car with a large geo-caching sticker in the rear window, unfortunately didn't run into the owners. Geo daughter found this one after a little saunter down to the river.

Cheers for the cache.

Another one for the morning with the geokids, easy wander, even though the area is still covered in debris.

This one was fun! I had decided to ride up from the "Melrose High" side to this little fella, however the gate was clearly marked "Private Property", headed around along the railway, stashed the bike in some bush, marked the spot, and headed off up the hill, down the gully and up the hill again! Another lovely spot and number three for the morning! MacArthurs Park is next!

Thanks to Dave09 for the cache. T: Pterodactyl Fred TB L: Nothing, but shall return with gifts to bestow!

PS: Fred has been dropped in MacArthurs Park, but I forgot to write down the tracking number, will log when the owner lets me know.

Dropping off Fred.

Easy find and last of four for the morning on the trustly old MTB. Another great spot, glad to see this one is OK after recent events.

Thanks to BigON again for the cache. T: Nothing L: Mageknight figure and Pterodactyl Fred TB.

PS: Fred was picked up from A Little Gem, but I forgot to write down the tracking nr, will log when owner advises.

Excellent cache with fantastic views. 1st for the morning, off to Melrose Monks next.

T: Nothing L: Nothing as it was pretty full!

Thanks to BigON for the cache. (I think I may have written 06/01/06 in the log, as I did this on at least one other cache today, looks like I'm taking a bit of time to adjust to the new year!)

Finally hit this one up after getting the clue some-time last year, as I didnt have my cray computer with me at the time (and my brain power is somewhat diminished these days)put it somewhere safe, so safe in fact I could not find it again!

So I headed out again for a pleasurable find (had the cray in my camelback this time!), 2nd for the morning, A little Gem to follow!

Thanks to Tankengine for the cache: T: N L: Mageknight Figure.

Ridden past here many a time and never knew these were there. An excellent and interesting spot, thanks for the cache, hope it stays safe!

Absolute beauty, super spook geoson swooped on the GZ for a pick up and drop off like a seasoned spy.

Cheers!

Looks like our Southern Muggler has struck again with this one, cache is gone, only a note left with the following -

"Roses are red,
violets are blue,
we stole all your stuff,
and your ammo box too,
you bunch of ...... nerds"

My 10 year old (who is about 100 times smarter than the piece of cr#p who is doing this to our caches) commented that the person who did this is doing the same thing as us...hunting for caches, so who is the bigger nerd? Us or them? Them methinks!
