Had fun with this one. I made the curtains for one of these busses. It has changed owners since but the curtains are still the same.
This sign is near the begining of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It tells of the start of the journey. The area has historical educational events once in a while. There are cabins to represent the original cabins used by Lewis and Clark. Just 5 or so miles down the road you can find the Lewis and Clark interpretive center. It's a great area to check out.

I choose this particular flag because it brings back special memories for me. It is located in Alton, IL at a car dealership. When I was a child the flag was wind damaged. My mother was a seamstress in the area. They asked her to mend the flag. As a young child I thought of my mother as Betsy Ross. I remember this every time I see this flag. I'll upload the pics shortly.

This is my first locationless cache. I love this particular one room school house. It is very dear to me because my husband and I were married here. The Quarcus Grove School House is located in Edwardsville Illinois. As you can tell by the name it is surrounded by beautiful old oak trees. The School is owned by a group of private citizens that are trying to preserve it. They have an auction every fall to raise funds to care for the property. They rent it out for a VERY reasonable rate. There is still plenty of playground equipment in the yard to have fun on. The school has been partially destroyed several times and re-built. Inside there are pictures showing the slight changes. Unfortunately the building is kept locked and you can only see those if an owner is present.
