Such a cute one!! Nice stop on our last day in NZ, and we’re popping in a few bugs we picked up in Sydney.

almost gave up, there is a lot of trash around the monument. it’s a great fishing spot though, and a cute piece of history! it’s an easy find, TFTC!

No pen (and it’s quite damp) but this one made us laugh! The coordinates might have changed slightly due to construction, but it’s still here and was the logical first guess based on the hint. TFTC!
Road tripping around NZ from NYC, had a nice little walk after coffee and enjoyed the art works! We felt dumb after inspecting various bolts and wondering what the hint was talking about. Then we picked the wrong bit. But we got there!

This one was really fun! It took us longer than I’d like to admit, but to be fair we overthought it and weren’t looking in exactly the place specified in the hint.
Our first find in NZ! We’re headed to Mt. Cook for a very snowy hike. The log has gotten a bit wet. Otherwise a lovely spot and quick find. TFTC!

This one was so much fun!! It was a great way to learn the early history of the city. Well worth the back and forth traversals which we resolved to complete on our last day here. We came pretty close to the 5hour estimate… but would not recommend doing it that quickly.
Now we will use our tickets of leave to head home to NYC (tomorrow, after the WWC game today!)
The sign at waypoint 7 appears to be missing, but perhaps it’ll be back after the WWC festivities die down. Otherwise everything was in perfect shape and we didn’t even struggle to find the encoded message (which… we really expected to struggle.) At GZ a very friendly security guard chatted with us about the people that go by. And the box is SO cool, first one like this we’ve ever seen!

Didn’t even tie our shoes for too long! Thanks for pointing out this building, we’d never stopped to notice it.

Loved the puzzle! We happened to be in the area of GZ today, but between the construction and the soccer crowds we decided to hold off and let someone else find it first.
Geocaching girlfriend thought we looked suspicious and made me leave early. I think we looked like perfectly normal college students and were right on top of it. Will avenge alone.
Cute! We were lucky to find it immediately. Could’ve taken us a while.
30 minutes searching has yielded nothing although we know it’s here… we are also very short, and wondering if it’s around the area of the large wet leaf pile, so perhaps we’ll try later today when fewer people are commuting past.
After a couple DNFs this morning, geocaching girlfriend INSISTED it was not there. It was there. There was another magnetic non-geocaching clue attached nearby, so popular spot!
We retrieved this very sneakily despite folks on the bench next to the sign. We will get weird looks “reading the sign” a second time.
We liked the artwork! We did not like the spiderwebs so much. Our selfie camera caught something suspicious looking, but perhaps next time if we have gloves.
