Logs for erinert

Very wet after this weekends rain. Cache lid was off and the contents a little soggy. This one might need a little check by the CO. A nice easy find though, TFTC.
16-Mar-18
I’ve had these trackables in my car for too long. A quick drop off whilst geokid played in the park!
03-Oct-16
My husband and I stayed at Bannisters for our babymoon over the weekend, so at 30 weeks pregnant, this cache and its associated rock-hopping was probably a bit ambitious! Regardless, we made the find quite quickly once we were in the right spot. A beautiful sunny day and water view forever!
19-Jul-16
We found this little one a few ago, but I can't remember the date! Geohubby had his hand on it within seconds. TFTC
02-Apr-16
We parked in Heathcote and made a quick grab of this cache. A hot autumn day - perfect caching weather. TFTC. We took the trackable, but I don't have it it in front of me to log right now - I'll fix that up later.
Wow, what a trek it was. We'd grabbed 3300 on the way in and had grand ideas to walk all the way down to Audley but it was too hot. It certainly is a decent bush-bash. I couldn't see any easier way in or out! Great view though! TFTC We grabbed the trackable but I don't have it in front of me right now to log - I'll fix that up later.
31-Jan-16
Another quick find whilst staying overnight in the glamping accommodation. Didn't have a pen with me unfortunately. TFTC
24-Nov-15
Woohoo! I finally found it. How is that I spent so long last time and today I almost went straight to it? The wonders of geocaching. TFTC.
19-Nov-15
I was supposed to go stand-up paddle boarding today at Bundeena but injured my hand last night at soccer leading to strapping tape and a splint. Fortunately, that doesn't stop geocaching. I headed out with GeoBro for the hidden pathways series. We got most of it done bar a few when we got too hot.
This was a nice simple find. I grabbed it quickly and went to sign the log but alas, muggles! Took some photographs of the lovely jacaranda tree nearby in full bloom as a decoy. Then signed the log and replaced. TFTC

I found clambering around a little more difficult today with my sore hand. Made the find after about 5 minutes. Great spot with great views! TFTC

The dog behind the fence didn't enjoy our presence too much. Fortunately, we weren't there for long. TFTC.

A quick find, only to be disturbed by the neighbour doing his gardening. I had to wait until he moved to the other side of the garden before replacing the caches. TFTC

I could hear voices and dogs very nearby but didn't see anyone. A quick find. I always like these containers. TFTC

More muggles at this cache! Builders next door... Fortunately, the fence protected prying eyes. Great came. TFTC

The surrounding area is cordoned off by the butcher group for regeneration. Future cachers should keep this in mind. We climbed a nearby structure to grab the cache. Not many muggles around. TFTC

We had to wait for a few yoga muggles to finish their class. I like this camo, I think it's under-used. TFTC

As with a previous log, the builders nearby were very suspicious. What a giant cache! I could not, for the life of me, get the lid off with my hand strapped. I have a photo of the cache should proof be required. TFTC

Thanks go to the next-door-neighbour for this find. She walked out of her gate as we were fumbling around. She asked if we were "here for the treasure", then got me to move 1 step to my right and there it was staring right at me. I'd like to say I'm hooked on caching. TFTC

I was keen to keep up the short little streak that I had going from the weekend so popped into this park in the late afternoon. I must have looked a bit odd in my business attire clambering around. A fairly quick find but no pen. I have photo proof. TFTC.
16-Nov-15
GeoHubby was here the other day on a school excursion but I didn't think to tell him to have a look. I made a quick grab today whilst no one was around TFTC. (First to sign the new log - it feels good!)
What an enjoyable cache. GeoHubby refused to do this one with me so I took GeoDad along for a bit. We did the first 3 waypoints on one day then met Mum for lunch. This cache has had me intrigued all weekend. I ended up doing a bit of research online and managed to solve another 3 or 4 (can't remember) waypoints. I went back today to make sure I was right before finishing off the rest and grabbing the cache. A nice quick find in a great spot. TFTC
Still a few walkers and cyclists out on this Monday afternoon. I made a quick grab between groups. TFTC
A muddy walk in whilst wearing converse sneakers - what was I thinking? A nice spot except the rubbish. Cache took a little longer than I'm happy to admit but I got it in the end (a bit of a forehead slap moment) TFTC
15-Nov-15
There are signs up everywhere saying that the area is closed for bush regeneration. In my opinion, the whole area is overgrown and wasn't very pleasant. Regardless, I could see a likely hiding spot and made a quick grab. We've had a trackable for a while that wasn't going to fulfil its goal so I've popped it in this cache. TFTC
14-Nov-15
I'd never been this far into Oyster Bay before. What a great view each of the houses have of the water! The cache was simple enough to find and a quick one too on this rainy Saturday afternoon. Of course the clue makes sense! TFTC
12-Nov-15
Found this one in the early hours of the morning on the way home from work. How on earth did I not have a pen anywhere? I took a photo of the cache and the log but I won't post it as it's certainly a spoiler if you haven't found any of the others in the series. TFTC

Wow, what a cache. I started this one a little while back and had the final coordinates sorted. I had a bit of time to spare today so I went for a little walk. I had a half full bottle of water and one empty one. Once I found a tap with a handle on it I was headed for the cache. I found it without any issue. I began pouring the water in, but alas I forgot to plug! I plugged the hole and started pouring again. One bottle empty, let's try to open the other bottle with one hand... Yep, opened. Pouring, pouring... Wow, the cache is hairy. Wait, that's not the cache that is a giant huntsman spider and her 50 million babies! A jumped back in a fright and my hard earned water began pouring out! I saved some water but it wasn't enough. There was no chance I was sticking my hand in to try and fish it out. So back I went to the tap and refilled the bottles. Only the baby spiders were left when I returned and my oh my I've never completed a log sign faster. It was so quick I didn't even get a chance to take a photo for my Instagram. The best I could get was a photo of the empty bottles as I ran away! Thanks for getting the heart pumping. TFTC
GPS took a while to settle but once it did it was a nice quick find. I've never been here before and it's always nice to find new places in the Shire. TFTC.
Found quickly on this quiet Remembrance Day. TFTC.

Geohubby checked out the HSV for sale on the corner whilst I made a quick grab. From the road I've never paid attention to this sign but today I felt very exposed. Fortunately, it was a quick find, the duties completed, cache replaced, hubby told 'no', and off we went home. TFTC!
06-Nov-15
Went to the bee tree first and got a fright. FYI there's no need to climb. A quick find after that though. TFTC
As mentioned previously, the cache log book is missing, the lid wasn't on the cache, and it was filled with water.
I used the update coords and had a quick find (after I waited for the guy flying his huge bird in the park to turn around - what the?). In this rain the cache is quite wet. The improvised weatherproofing of the log book has helped. TFTC.

I think I found this one. The cache was filled with water, there's no log and the lid was about 2 metres away in some leaves. Urgent attention for this cache please.

We finished our day with this one after completing the Hancock Clan's 'Up the creek' series. A great end to our afternoon. TFTC.
A quick detour off the path and we had CIH. I was a little too short for this one but geohubby had the height! TFTC. We took the Geocoin as this cache happened to be our 100th and we were feeling proud!
I was worried about the size of cranium we might be seeing here in this isolated piece of bush land... But this cache was actually cute! It made me laugh! TFTC
What a great little spot! A bit more water and we might have had a dip! TFTC
Quite a bushy and leafy oasis! A nice quick find and we continued on this little series. TFTC
No dragons today... Heard a few rustles and a splash but it was geohubby throwing sticks into the water! TFTC
Another great spot and what a great series! TFTC Hancock's we had a great afternoon!
I was worried I wasn't looking hard enough when looking for the coordinates... A bit of a bush bash and we had the CIH. TFTC. Again- what a great series.
