Logs for flyjin 

Another find for us! This time I am showing it off to a friend, you may have just created a new Geocacher  

Wow what a mission that was! I thought it would be easier to not walk back up towards the fence line on my way out - so I headed back up through the bracken and it too about 3 times longer than it took to get back in! The shaft was a nice surprise and tossing down a few rocks confirmed that it was deep  

A very faint track to follow and a small signboard with info. Easy enough find. 

Quick and informative find. TFTC. 

Went for a drive out Mahinerangi ways and de idea to pick up a few caches on the way. Bit of bush bashing and a jumpy GPS but we got it in the end. 

Cords were a bit out ut description and hint helped me find it without too much difficulty. 

Found the fence post and supports at cords but no cache. 

Easy park n grab. Lucky it's a nice view I could pretend to be takin photos when the cars came past. 

Beautiful lake. Found this place by accident when we missed a turn on the GPS. Pleased we came here. 

Took a few reads to work out hint but it all clicked into place once we understood what was happening. 

Hardest part was finding second plaque. Thanks for bringing me here have walked this area many times but never paid attention. 

Took a while to find and had to read a lot of past logs. In the end only found it when I decided to stop and just look carefully! 

Quick find with the nephew thanks to the great description and hint. 

Found the green box in question but could not locate cache. There was a pest trap at bottom of electric box so maybe whoever laid the trap may have removed cache. 

I am really enjoying some of these well thought out and superbly created caches in Wanganui. Thanks for a very enjoyable cache Signed by the nephew who found it first - Te Rangimarie.

Nice easy find. Love the camo, the newbies I were with walked past it a few times. 

Great wee puzzle and nice hide. Went geocaching with the nephews and they really liked this one. The boys took a minute and a half to crack it and Awatea got the signing rights! 

Was about to give up and go home - assuming that the "tool" had been lost. One last try at the top revealed the tool needed. TeRangimarie won the signing rights for this cache. TFTC. 

Can confirm the presence of creepy crawlies in cache. Was going to assume there was no log book until the marble dropped! Great cache  

Little bit of poking around but located it after a short while. TFTC. 

Like others before us we think we found the flax bush in question but no cache. 

Thankfully I looked down through at the other logs. Found the cache under some good camo. 

Out with some family. Today we are 2 from 2. 

Wet log so we couldn't sign it. The hint area was very long but we got there in the end. 

Found this one after going to wrong side off the road. Introduced a potential local guardian to the game... 

Found it second time round! The GPS kept pointing me to a different tree. Got there in the end TFTC. 

We are having a great run today, walking along the bays from Browns, yet another successful find. TFTC.

High muggle area! But thanks to hint from one of the logs below, it brought back memories of a cache I had found in similar fashion! TFTC great hide, and thanks for brining this hidey place to my attention.

Log is surprisingly dry seeing as there is no extra bag for it. First time here TFTC

I don't know if I was looking at the map wrong or this was just on the wrong side of the road... 

Bamboo must have been cleared. 

Very easy hint and found the spot but no cache or sign thereof. 

Flat piece of concrete easy enough to find, cache not there. 

Did not attempt this one.

Cross branch has grown and deformed cache so that lid doesn't close.

Searched all around the base of a very suspicious Cabbage tree close to the cords. No luck.
