Logs for hairyfairies

A day in Leeds city centre with my caching pal Simwil (Simon) to, once again, clear it of unfound caches.
Seven Earth caches attempted and I have the answers which I will forward to the CO, on behalf of us both, in due course. In the meantime I'll be cheeky and log them all as found.
Thanks for setting these and giving us an excuse to use public transport to visit Leeds Wink

An American adventure with two good friends Simwil (Simon) & Baccam (David).
They were looking to do Jasmer 2/3 and I was after my first.
We are on a two week road trip to find what we require to achieve our goals.
I required this cache so that I could complete my Jasmer Challenge
On the drive to the cache the guys were reading previous logs out loud and we had set ourselves for a VERY wet walk to the find. Once parked in the handily placed car park we donned boots and jackets and set off. The walk in the wet grass wasn’t too bad and to be fair the last 150ft were little problem either.
At the cache we had a little celebration and took group pictures, then replaced the cache and walked back to the car.
I have now completed the Jasmer challenge.
I made an excuse on the return walk, so that I could have a few moments alone.....
My late partner introduced us to Geocaching back in 2010 but unfortunately cancer curtailed his life. I took a few moments today to remember him and will admit I shed a tear.
Many thanks to the COs for keeping this cache going so that people like us can enjoy the game.
Favourite point from me

One of if not my prime reason for this fantastic trip was to find and log this cache.
The walk to GZ wasn’t as difficult as some previous logs made it out to be, in fact it was a lovely walk.
David & Simon kindly stood back and let me make the find.
After signing the log and taking numerous photos we slowly climbed our way out.
Many thanks to the CO for keeping this cache alive and for giving me a reason to visit the states.
A definite favourite from me
