Logs for henwoman

15-Sep-17
Found with 'Rooster. Just put my hand on the cache when a tractor came along to mow the grass I was standing on. A different sort of muggle!TFTC

25-Mar-14
Found on the second attempt - this one with Pyroeis, who really was the one to make the find. TFTC

24-Mar-14
I'm not sure why the title - am I missing something? But it was a good hide and not a difficult find TFTC My 1222nd find.

I saw the cache and thought 'that can't be it it's too obvious' - and guess what that was it!
TFTC

Would you believe it as I spotted the cache a garden maintenance truck pulled up 6ft away - so the log writing was done in a huge hurry and I got away with it. This is a lovely walk and well looked after but I wished they had come along at a different time. TFTC

21-Mar-14
Good co-ords and all in order TFTC

An easy find and all is in order. TFTC

20-Mar-14
TFTC an easy find but you might like to know that the magnets are not attached well to the container and tend to stay put when you remove the cache. Put it back together as best as possible.

Found quite quickly on a warm morning. We are staying in Renown Ave while over from England so this was an obvious cache to look for. TFTC

We were asked if we were lost just as we found this. This is not a place to be pretending to look at the view! TFTC

An easy find thank you. The log needs attention as most of it is a damp and pulpy mess at the bottom. Did the best we could to write on a tiny bit of paper.

19-Mar-14
Found on a lovely sunny day wandering around Glenelg. TFTC

16-Mar-14
Found while enjoying the Botanic Gardens. Nearly at the end of 5 months trip to Australia from England TFTC

15-Mar-14
Found while in Clare for the Rodeo in Blythe. Before we found this we found a magnetic patch for another hide and seek challenge that had a QR code that was on a box nearby. This nano took a little while to find but we did it.

In Clare for the Rodeo in Blythe, I really liked this hide and will copy it when I get home to England. I am a Queens Guide from the 1960s and a one time Akala so have a love of scouting and guiding, TFTC

13-Mar-14
Found while staying at Shell Beach actually found by Jill. Maybe she will take up caching now. TFTC

Found while staying with Brendan and Jill at Sloggs Motel.
The plastic pot had shattered -UV light damage perhaps? We have replaced it with a similar one. The thunder box in the photo is for Sloggs Motel only and is kept locked. We are from the UK and this must be the most different experience in our 5 month trip. Shell Beach is just wonderful and well worth the long drive to get there. Thanks to Liz and Bruce for this cache.

06-Mar-14
A really good spot to walk to and great views Thank you for bringing us here.

Three men inspecting this spot so we waited but thought they must be cachers. Then an easy find. Later saw the same three men and they were highway inspectors. TFTC

Snake warnings always worry me but the old rooster found this for me TFTC

05-Mar-14
Found but I was worried about snakes and spiders. But all was well. TFTC

04-Mar-14
Found after a visit to Collingrove Homestead. TFTC
The logs are full - I wrote on top of an old log and put a ring around it. Needs a new log.

Hi Karl, I like your cache - it wasn't too difficult to find. I am from England and staying in Gawler with a friend and thought I would find some caches when I visited Angaston. thanks Team Scoobster for the cache.

03-Mar-14
An easy find and a good statue TFTC

01-Mar-14
Spotted really quickly TFTC

Bull ants everywhere but we didn't take too long to find this TFTC

A very pretty place and the clue helped. TFTC

Not an easy place to look for a cache - too many rocks! But we did it.
We showed two non cachers what it is all about. TFTC

The fifth and final find for the morning and we were able to show two friends what caching is all about. This is my 1200th find Hurray. Clever camo but good co-ords TFTC

27-Feb-14
We are touring Aus for 5 months - from the UK I had picked up a TB that wanted to go to 'The Big Things' so this is near the Big Orange.
This was an interesting place to stop en route from Mildura to Gawler. TFTC

Clever hide and I loved the roses - you could smell them from across the road. TFTC

Found TFTC I see why its a tricky find. Easy once you get there. Met the landlord and went back for a drink later.

25-Feb-14
As we were looking for this we met the Fire Chief and explained to him about geocaching. I really wanted to find the nano so I could show him what we were talking about. It should have been easy but the first quick search in the obvious place wasn't thorough enough - but we got there in the end. If the owner is in the fire team your cover is blown now. Sorry.

22-Feb-14
A clever hide but we found it. Caching with Pyroeis and Robanne. We are all n holiday from the UK TFTC

18-Feb-14

10-Feb-14
A great walk across the dam. Views not so good as it was hazy. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

This would have been easier if I hadn't written down the clue from another cache. Eventually found it TFTC

08-Feb-14
A quick find on a baking hot day. We nearly melted. Over here from the UK, even temps of 40C+ must be better than the floods at home. TFTC

07-Feb-14
Found while staying in Healesville on a 5 month trip to Aus from UK.
As you say - just where you would hide a cache. TFTC

25-Jan-14
It took a while but found it just as we were about to give up. TFTC

22-Jan-14
We searched for a while and just about to give up and while poking around with a stick we moved something and there it was. We are here while touring Aus for 5 months, over from UK TFTC

11-Jan-14
An easy find while on a visit to Camberwarra from the UK TFTC

10-Jan-14
Staying in the nearest house to this cache in Brolga Place while on a visit from U K. An easy find sorry there has been trouble with candles. There are no TBs here. TFTC

08-Jan-14
Found while staying in Bowral and on our way to the Australian Motorlife Museum near Woolangong. The museum was worth a visit and the drive down the Macquarie Pass was good too. We liked the hide TFTC

07-Jan-14
Loving being in Bowral and finding caches makes it even better. An easy find thanks. We are from Wiltshire in UK over here for an extended trip. TFTC
