On another Photo Chicks adventure! Currently with ksumom2004, lrhartist and twofingersdown. We're exploring Utah before heading north for a week in Yellowstone. If this is an earthcache or virtual, you will be getting an email from ksumom2004 as soon as we have service.
We made it, another state's oldest found. Such a pretty area, but long drive from SLC. Left SLC just after 5am and started our hike about 8am. Took us about 45 minutes for Potters Pond, the letterbox and the cache near parking. I slowed us down taking photos ?? TFTC!

On another epic road trip as the Photo Chicks, this time with ksumom2004 and Truvtter in Washington and Vancouver, BC. Last October I was coming in town for a family event and thought, hey, maybe my friends would like to join me and we can grab the APE cache! Unfortunately I ended up getting sick and we ended up having to cancel the trip. There was no way I was going to survive a 6 mile hike when I could barely make it out of bed for more than a few minutes at a time. UGH, so disappointing. So a few months later we re-booked the trip for June, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We had the most wonderful weather all weekend long. We managed to get 2 state oldest caches, ksumom2004 completed her first JASMER and added a new country AND we had some major milestones - the APE was my find #12,000 and ksumom2004's #8,000! Plus we found a lot of great caches, so success all around. A big thank you to all the COs, we appreciate your creativity and maintenance of your caches. All answers to virtuals and earthcaches have been sent by ksumom2004, TFTC!
After hiking to GCD in the morning and following up with the APE right afterward, making the 3 mile trek back to the car was brutal! But we made it, #12,000 in the books!!
It was also nice to run into @crs98, @quigquay and @colbertnation on the way. Its always fun when you meet other cachers

Answers have been sent. At first I thought the sharks were the big attraction, luckily I looked around some more and found the real reason you bought me by. TFTC!
My cousin took me to Hard Rock tonight and after a successful night at the slots, i had to get this cache. The hardest part was getting to the right location, quick after that. TFTC!

Not sure my uncle knew what he was getting into this morning when I said we're going to the oldest cache in Arizona... I don't think he enjoyed it very much, apparently he sent a text to my aunt that I was trying to kill him I managed to leave our Bulldog Canyon OHV permit at my uncle's, so first we had to call my aunt and get her to text us a photo of it. Then we had to find the right dirt road (FYI, its near N33 33.056 W111 34.897) That gate is heavy! But we got inside and drove slowly down the rocky dirt path (already had a flat on a dirt road a few days ago, didn't want another one!) until we were about .7 miles from the cache. It didn't look like we could get much closer, so I found a place to park the car and we took off on foot. Someone wore shorts and his favorite shirt that got snagged by some thorns, he'll learn eventually that you don't wear shorts or good clothes to geocache! The sun was HOT HOT HOT already at 9:30am. Got to the cache area, everything is in good shape. Spotted a few trackables in the cache. Then we started the hike back, it seemed like we had to cross a lot more washes on the way out than in. Made it back to the road without seeing any snakes, so that made my uncle happy. I kinda wanted to see one [:p] Quote of the hike from my uncle, "I thought I saw the car, but it was a mirage". Another "old" cache in the books, TFTC!

Day 2 of a 9 day wild road trip with ksumom2004. Today we are on a mission to grab as many geocaches as we can on our way to Delaware, this one made the list because its the oldest in Virginia and I think it also fills a JASMER square. We were able to park fairly close by and made the short walk to GZ, TFTC!

I chose Tulum as my cruise excursion while in Cozumel and I'm glad I did. Exiting the Carnival Imagination, we walked to another pier and took a smaller boat to the mainland. Then we hopped on a bus to go to Tulum. What a neat place to see. I wish we could have gotten closer to the ruins. The beach was beautiful. Thanks for putting a virtual cache here! My first cache outside the USA!

Insane trip to Disney with LilDebsKC and MdRAGE, this was our 3rd park of the day! Gotta get the most out of those park hoppers =) TFTC!
