A 2nd easy one today. Mystery puzzle element was a slight redherring initially. added interest for DadPota.
Lovely views and very peaceful. Haven't been to this Point since my childhood. That's one of the great things about geocaching - it's taking me to lovely places with a great excuse to go there when I otherwise wouldn't know about them or think to do so.

A terrific cemetry I'd never have known was here without geocaching, and the history lesson was great to read about. TFTC.
Muggles joined us with their dog walking, so we felt forced to abandon the search quickly.

a closed empty camper's tent was nearly on top of the log. lovely drive from Okain's Bay in 32C heat. Area seemed a mite bit smelly. Easy find.

Didn't actually search as didn't have the notes with other co-ords about access from the Ngaio Point Estate, so we thought that the locked gate meant barred from entry.

Had to wait for 2 international Asian high school students studying on next bench seat to go. Read about Mr Shand and his family. Extremely easy find! Was my first in Chch ever, & 1st without Couff. Introduced my cozzie-sis to the sport. T: padlock & figurine. L: a mini gnome.

Found easily(by Couff) - calm slightly overcast day - nice yummy meal at Fleur's while staying at Noah's - both recommended if in the area.

Very obvious spot for a cache - great! Watched 2 fur seals sunning and swimming amongst rocks below, and had to avoid a few muggles viewing from Fleur's.

Used hints but still didn't find. as previous entry was in Oct and several previous finders said the log was mush, it's possibly no longer???
