Pah!!! Spent a ridiculous amount of time hunting in vain for this one, under increasing cover of darkness and chilliness this evening... In the end I had to admit defeat! I'm sure I've missed something hugely obvious... but I couldn't make sense of the hint or a few of the comments in earlier logs 
I think I saw something in a couple of the places I looked, so will message the CO in case am in danger of posting spoilers!
Sad that I'm away home to Wales tomorrow, so this one will likely go unfound by me! Maybe I'll be back someday on another business trip!

Cracking idea for a cache!! Was pondering the hint on the walk over from my hotel nearby, wondering what it could involve - all became quickly apparent! Even though there were a few rush hour pedestrians hurtling by on the opposite side of the road, soon had the cache in hand and the log signed.
