Logs for kaimai 

Had to sunbath for a while because there were heaps of people about. Cool hiding place. 

Nice easy find after getting lost trying to find the park. There are lots of dead end roads if approaching from the new subdivisions to the east. Aimee is not too good with maps. Took 2Bugs Geocoin. 

Nice walk along track to find cache. Had to bush bash for a bit to find track which was a bit of a challenge in jandals. 

Day out geocaching with Aimee and Skiff. Found it after aimee got a little confused to where the GPS was pointing. Watch out for Mozzies!! 

Found it after looking for a while under the wrong slabs. Left geocoin. 

Really busy and a bit of a traffic jam but a good cache. First time we have done a virtual cache. 

Raced skiff to find this cache. Was a good hunt and away from all the smuglers that were playing. 

Awesome find. The cache was not the normal shape which we were looking for which took a bit of hunting to find it. 

Really enjoyable cache to find. Loved the hidding place. Took outdoor annie, skiff and I a while to find the actual location after walking for a while around the area. Took the Geocoin. 

A race up the hill and over the fence lead us to the area to look. Once again skiff bet me to find the actual cache. 

Was blantly ovbious form about 10m away. The travel bug that is suposed to be at this cache was not there. We think smugglers may have taken it. 

Went with skiff to find this cache and couldnt find it. Rang outdoor anne, who was wating at the car, to ask her for a hint. Still couldnt find it so gave up. Outdoor Annie came up with us to find it and she also couldnot find it. 

Went with Skiff and JR to find this one. we were all a bit confused and were heading back to the car when we spotted the little track down. once we found this it all made sense and we found it. 

Nice walk and awesome water fall. However there seems to be more down hill walking than up hill walking, this doesnot help bad knees!!!
Hint: Turn Left at the bottom of the cascade trak onto the auckland city track if you want to win the race back to the car! Runnin the otherway is not even faster!!!! 

Were on our way to find Cascade challenge and realised we were right by this one. Poped in and got it. Managed to sucessfully point out the wrong tree to skiff to distract her while i went to the right tree and found it!!!! haha i finally found one before her!!!!! 

Found it with skiff and jr on our way through taupo. GPS is a bit out but was an easy find because of the clues. 

Found it as I passed through taupo with skiff and jr. After a bit of a hunt on the wrong side of the track we spotted it. 

A nice quick find with skiff and jr on our way back from Napier. 

Revisited cache to deposit kookaburra travel bug. Needed to off load it into a cache before christmas and this was nice big one to put it in. 

Nice easy find but now have to dry out my shoes. It is a bit wet and muddy under foot gettin to it. Outdoor anne did not warn me of this. Took Kookaburra travel bug and left Docs blue mini. 

Nice and easy find after we made a phone call to get the clue after outdoor anne only printed page 1. the clue was on page 2. This was the first time I had spotted the cache first. 

Kaimai, Skiff and Outdoor Annie headed to the bridge. Were lucky enough to pick up a little blue mini on it's way around the world. 

Set off early for a days worth of hunting. Found this cache after a phone call to get the hint. Managed to find my first one with help from skiff and outdoor anne. 

Found this one at long last. Outdoor Anne had the coordiantes right it just took us a while to find the right place. Once again skiff found the treasure after telling us it was in a different area. 

Found this one aftyer a bit of hunting in the wrong area. Were about to give up and decided to check other hairy trees. We think the bearings are a bit wrong. 

Were a bit unsure if we were at the right stump. Finally I Spotted it and got to gloat to outdoor anne and skiff that I found the final one after they managed to spot every other one. 

First find of the day. Was nice and easy once we had the coordinates. Got these with a little help from a maths teacher. Nice spotting by Outdoor Anne to find the box with awesome treasures in. 

Skiff is begining to irritate me, she found it again before me!!!!!! It was a nice easy find. 

Skiff beat me to this one, just to rub it in. She has some magnetic connection to caches and finds them ahead of me!!!

Please realise that Skiff had the GPS and sent me in the wrong direction to allow her to grab this one. 

I am having a bad day, it was good to find this one, but bugger it, skiff has already been here. I will go out with outdoor annie and we will find some without skiff! Annie doesn't mind not being first! 

Great spot. thought it was a bit closer to "C" so decided to walk. Not a good idea to walk back via the road it is much faster back along the track. 

My first ever hunt. It was heaps of fun and it is a nice easy one to start with. Unfortuanatly skiff bet me to find the box. 

Nice easy find. We spotted some other trolls wading through the mangroves. Once again skiff found this one.
