Logs for lemongum

28-Jan-24
Long time since I've been out caching. Gorgeous day for it. TFTC!

07-Dec-19
Found on a simply stunning day while down here for the weekend with family. We've dropped off a TB for the next cached to move along.

24-Sep-19
This Victorian family's first QLD cache! We loved the old log sheets, and loved the walk. Stayed a while at the beach for the icing on top

Great hide. Our first in Brisbane. Excellent history lesson as well

14-Jul-19
Stopped briefly to exchange travel bugs. Kids don't remember seeing this one, so it was a fun find for them

11-Mar-19
This was great! Well done plowfive, we enjoyed this very much.

Found on a nice cruisy public holiday of a Monday. Cheers!

29-Sep-18
Nice easy find after a peaceful walk, out with Swampgum, tftc

That was quite the hike! Thanks for a lovely tour of the area. Found with Swampgum.

08-Sep-18
Found on a lovely day strolling with swampgum and our youngest. TFTC

Swampgum has eagle eyes and spotted this tiny little thing. GPS struggling under the tree canopy.

04-Jul-18
Found with swampgum and soxfox42, followed by a delightful picnic. We love this area. TFTC.

03-Jul-18
We haven't been here in years, it's certainly changed a bit. Still beautiful. Thanks for a nice quick find

On our way from Port Fairy to Portland. Letting the kids out for a leg stretch and a quick cache. Thanks!

Great little spot for wander and cache. The container itself probably needs replacing, and the log book is full.

02-Jun-18
I'm not a huge fan of micros in such exposed areas usually, but we were about for a stroll anyway, and it wasn't a tricky find

Out for a wander, and a nice quick find in a lovely park. Cheers!

24-Mar-16
Out and about today waiting for the folk festival to begin Smile Found with Swampgum and kiddos

14-Mar-15
A mystery cache for Pi day was required, and while our own gymnast was at training, so unfortunately missed out on helping me with the calculations, this one fit the bill nicely. TFTC - a nice little spot Smile

23-Jan-15
Retro-logging this one, sorry it's taken me so long! Found with Swampgum while away for the long weekend.
I used to live very close by (Muckleford) in my childhood, and have fond memories of riding my bike around these roads. It's really lovely to see this place kept in such great shape.

Retro-logging this one, sorry it's taken me so long! Found with Swampgum while away for the long weekend. This one took us a little more time than it should, as the GPS was playing up. It was obvious at the end, as is always the case!

Retro-logging this one, sorry it's taken me so long! Found with Swampgum. The shorter of us (me!) found it lying on the ground, and the taller of us replaced it in a likely spot. TFTC!

Retro-logging this one, sorry it's taken me so long! Found with Swampgum while away for the long weekend. We nearly gave up on this one, but eventually figured out what we needed. The prickles I acquired in the trek to GZ made this find a memorable one... I'm just thankful I didn't come across any creatures of a slithery nature!

15-Apr-14
Sorry my log is so late - going through notes, I realised I didn't log this one - found with swampgum as we headed Canberra to Melbourne after the Easter break. A nice little hide, a little bit tricky with the number of muggles about. Sometimes kids can be useful distractions!

Swampgum and I, pictured on a trip north. Always a great spot to break the drive. Thanks Biggles Bear!

This one was not for us today. Council-muggles nearby made us wary of lurking too long, and though we made a go at searching the actual spot, too many eight-legged residents made us wary of blind groping. Perhaps next time we're up this way.

Stopping for a quick leg-stretch and cache-find on our way through to Canberra from Melbourne. Tftc!

A great little wander around the site, as we stopped en route to Canberra from Melbourne. Not a tricky cache hide, but plenty of muffles nearby add a point of difficulty. TFTC!

07-Jan-14
We had just enough time for a quick trip up the DNA tower at the end of our WA trip, then it is off to the airport for us. Great view, neat little cache, thanks Smile

05-Jan-14
Visiting from Melbourne. We had to stop and take a picture of the very debonair Fergus, and it was a pleasure to find this nifty little cache nearby. Great build Smile

SO good to finally log this one. We were here three years ago and had just been introduced to caching. Had no idea what we were looking for. Back in Melbourne, doing some reading, I realized we had seen it well and truly. Great to be back now and signing. (Needs a new log though - we signed on the tape). Cheers!

Stopping for a spot of lunch and live music at the brewery, it was a pleasant surprise to find a cache within a stone's throw. A 'fun' little hide, that's for sure!

04-Jan-14
A blustery afternoon, a few fishing muffles, and a quick cache. Nice one!

02-Jan-14
Great cache for our WA visit Smile Came with swampgum and the kids and dropped off a TB we've had for ages. Thanks!

01-Jan-14
Hooray - nice to find a cache on January 1! Happy New Year, thanks for a neat little cache in a lovely area of the world.

05-Nov-13
Gorgeous day for a cup day picnic. Swampgum and I wandered away from the festivities briefly to find this one... which we did in time, despite the high muggle traffic today. Tftc!

06-Oct-13
Out for a brief wander and introducing a friend to geocaching, we had a lovely walk to find this one. Thanks!

25-Aug-13
Out and about on the day of the Hurstbridge Wattle festival - but so were lots of Muggles, to check out the steam strain going by. We had to be a bit careful trying to locate this one, but it wasn't too difficult in the end. A great day was had by all!

Out with swampgum for a spot of biking and scooting with the kids, and watching some steam trains pass by. We decides to check and see if there were any nearby caches. So after a long hiatus during which my count has sat tantalizingly at 199... finally my #200! No swaps today. Tftc Smile

09-Jun-13
Even in the chilly weather of today there were quite a few muggles and muggle dogs about, but we plonked down near the spot with the kiddos and swampgum made the find. Tftc!

08-Mar-13
A lovely little walk - we were amused to follow behind an unconcerned emu for a little way. Eventually he/she had enough of the paparazzi though, and skedaddled. A quick find - this time we had a pen with us, but it wasn't needed. Tftc.

I cannot believe we came up that walk without a pencil! Since we sure as heck weren't going back down to the car to retrieve one (I was thoroughly Out Of Breath by this stage), swampgum got creative with a burnt stick. We are signed jointly as 'The Gums'. Thanks for the cache!
PS Perhaps the next cacher could bring a small pen or pencil to leave inside?

03-Mar-13
(Sorry for the delayed log - catching up a week later). Found this one with swampgum and our kids. A nice little roadside scramble - glad we didn't have to seek further. Tftc.

(Sorry for the delayed log - catching up a week later). Found this one with swampgum and our kids while traveling north to Corowa. The log here is disintegrating from water damage. Signed as best we could.
