Logs for lostandfoundmtc

Cased this one in preparation for the onslaught of munchkins on a family picnic. At first glance with the iPhone there seemed to be so many possibilities for hides. There were some tracks tempting me into the bush in many directions. Upon return armed with the trusty garmin and the expert looker in the family (geowife) a more specific location for the cache was determined and a very eager find was made by the younger members of the group. TFTC covert.

Found on July 7. Sorry for the tardy log. Was a nice walk/run after our nephew's birthday lunch. TFTC
26-Jul-12
Was aware of the location of this one for a while but hadn't found a muggle free time to grab it. The opportunity presented itself on a very, very early morning run. Unfortunately I had no pen to sign the log. TFTC Saulman1010, your caches are always rewarding and informative!
15-Jul-12
Not so slippery today. But tough enough with geokiddy on the back. They are very trusting! TFTC
Took a little bit of searching. Took great care tiptoeing around the recent revegetation.
Left this one yesterday because of the tide. Returned today. Coords are quite a way off. Had to use the hint to locate the likely spot.
13-Jul-12
Number 2 for the day. Took the direct route on the way to the beach. Finally deposited the desired swap! TFTC
Number three this evening. We had great fun running and jumping along the beach to get this one. TFTC
12-Jul-12
First on a quick twilight run with the family. The smallest one was disappointed the cache container was too small to put her swap in! Fantastic hide, we were very impressed. TFTC
01-Jul-12
Found a couple of weeks ago. Loved the story of the place. Felt spooky looking around! TTFC
Found a couple of weeks ago but forgot to log the find. Never knew this place existed. Thanks for bringing us here!
14-Jun-12
This one seems to have been muggled. Will replace ASAP, thought it was hidden well enough. Seems it wasn't. May need to find a new place for this one!
02-Jun-12
Found this one a while ago. Was just searching for some new local caches and realized I hadn't logged it! When we did find this obe, the little one had a great time! TFTC
12-Apr-12
Found while doing some recon for an upcoming school camp. Great day for a walk around cape woolamai.
25-Mar-12
Had this one solved many months ago. Just needed the push to get me there. A visit from my sister and nephews was just the ticket! Nearly lost the dog though. Thought of a few excuses to explain his disappearance till he was found!
13-Feb-12
Have looked for this one twice before. Today I took someone who could actually look ......... The Geowife! She had it in hand about 3 seconds after arriving at GZ. Well, at least I can now log a find! TFTC
Had a great stroll round the King's falls circuit, which were flowing after some recent rain. Past a bee hive in a tree which none of us had seen before. TFTC

20-Nov-11
Found on a cool November day with geofamily. Not too many muggles today, making for a quick find. TFTC
15-Nov-11
Found this one a while ago but neglected to log it at the time. Set off at what we thought was low tide. Well, it was, at Frankston! Turns out it was high tide! Lucky for us it wasn't a rough day. Saw some dolphins and a seal at GZ which made a great place to sit for lunch. TFTC

14-Aug-11
After a great morning running around exploring the "fairy gardens" our geodaughter very quickly got back in the pram to "find a cache"! After reaching GZ we spotted cache quickly, but had to wait awhile for muggles to disappear! Great hide, which geodaughter thought was well worth getting in the pram for! TFTC
06-Aug-11
Made our way to 'Pirate Island' with our trusty treasure map. Found GZ guarded by some fearsome rainbow lorikeets. We prepared for battle and soon had the treasure in hand. TFTC
20-Jul-11
Found the required information after an evening visit to feed the ducks with very small geodaughter. After heroically rescuing her from the stampeding geese, we wandered over to the rose garden to collect the clues with geodaugter lodged squarely on my shoulders. Between the encroaching darkness, gumbooted feet and a beanie being pushed over my eyes, the clues were deciphered mostly correctly. This sent us off in entirely the wrong direction, but having read some previous logs we decided to check it out anyway. After a quick rethink we all returned the following evening to now be able to log a very satisfying find. TFTC.
12-Jul-11
Found ourselves in Geelong and in the mood for a bit of maths. Found all four this morning. TFTC
Solved this one quickly and proceeded to cache in the morning. Now for the next in the series!
Following confirmation from the cache hider that we were looking in the right place, we returned to GZ to ponder the exact location of the cache some more. To wait out some muggles who had settled in to enjoy the birdlife on the water, we headed off to the nearby Bark Hut Reserve for some well earned time on the swings with geodaughter. After a chance meeting we helped some fellow cachers locate the cache there that had mysteriously changed locations since we had found it last. The muggles had finally moved on so we headed off to GZ once more. Geowife had a moment of inspiration and we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for a great search, fantastic hide!
11-Jul-11
Geodaughter and dad headed off to find this one. About 10mins later geodaughter appeared from the bush with the biggest smile (.."not fall down in muddy puddles this time mummy") and bubbles in hand. Bubbles were great entertainment while she waited for the BBQ to cook! A beautiful spot. TFTC.
09-Jul-11
Found finally! Redid the maths today after about a year's break. Turns out it was the looking that was at fault first time round not the maths! Very pleaded to finally tick this one off at last ?. TFTC
P.S. there was no sign of construction at GZ.

Second time lucky for us. The rain had finally stopped so we could mount a full scale search. Nice hide TFTC
07-Jul-11
Got a bit wet finding this one. Remember climbing the cliff here to escape the rising tide on a walk from Point Addis as a kid. TFTC
05-Jul-11
Second find in this series, with luck the next one won't be as long coming! TFTC
04-Jul-11
Took some searching until I unfocussed my eyes and really looked for places a cache would really be hidden! Geodaughter loved it, she even made a new friend on the trip (a morning walker's dog)! TFTC
28-Jun-11
Searched for 20 mins ? before geowife stepped in to admire the sunset. My frustration eased when she cried found it! TFTC
12-Jun-11
Found with kids and some nubies to caching (also with kids). Attempted to rehide less thoroughly than normal. I think I succeeded! TFTC.
