A quick find. Despite a few muggles in the area, the cache was easy to retrieve and put back without causing suspicion. TFTC

After looking for the cache and finding a lot of broken glass in the area, we have decided to move the cache. It is still in the same area, but in a brand new spot! So anyone who has already found this cache should go back and look for the new spot. It's a little harder to get to, but a lot easier to see.

We were a bit surprised to find caches in the uni, after having some of ours were denied because they were hidden on the campus. But I'm glad some made it past the review process!
We loved the geological cache! It was an easy find during uni holidays with few muggles around.

The cache was easy to see, but took a while to realise what it was. TFTC!

There's only been two proper DNFs since one of them left after reading the logs. There have been DNFs for this cache before. We will go and look for it as soon as we can to make sure it's definitely not where it's supposed to be.
13-Feb-11
It started to rain as we pulled up to this one, and after getting a little muddy, we found it easily with no muggles around. TFTC! We will have to come picnic in this park next time we're in the area.
There were lots of fishermuggles around, but we managed to sneakily find the cache! Beautiful garden!
24-Jan-11
I've never seen a standalone crematorium before. It was quite pretty here. Left Geocoin. TFTC
Nice night time caching trip on the break wall. We found one out of two and learnt that not all areas are quieter at night! The find was easy enough, but it took a while to sign the log in between passing muggles. TFTC!
It took a lot of searching! But we eventually found the cache's hiding spot- and lots of lizards pretending to be snakes... TFTC
The iPhone battery died as we walked towards the cache, which made the search a little bit longer than usual. Luckily, the lack of muggles let us search the area thoroughly and make the find!
Trees, trees and more trees.. we eventually found the right spot after searching the area for a while.
A loose chicken distracted us from finding the cache, but it was an easy find once we returned to the task. Unfortunately we forgot to bring keyrings to swap, so we'll have to stop into this one again on our next caching road trip out this way. TFTC
It was SUCH a hot day for a caching road trip and the cold drinks were needed by the time we dropped by the lolly shop. A few muggles driving by, but we sneakily retrieved the cache and continued the trip. TFTC
First find on our caching roadtrip! Find made at exactly midday. No mozzies around at all! Except for one giant one!
This caching hunt taught me that I am not only an awesome cacher, but I am an awesome bike mimer. "Rode" on over to GZ and we made a quick find. No muggles in sight!!!
The cache had managed to escape it's home. We found it on the ground nearby, signed log and put it back, hopefully near where it is meant to live.
Turns out we don't just talk the talk! We can also cache the cache.... nice easy find on an interesting walking track that was luckily not as steep as it looked from the top.

iPhone didn't have internet connection here, so we had to search the hard way. A stray swap led us in the wrong direction, but our team work helped us find it quickly!
iPhone took us to the wrong tree, but after spending a bit of time searching we found the cache. Great view from this hill.

We were walking past the tower when I remembered the new cache, so we decided to make the trek up to look for it. Beau-tox, being the tallest, decided to look for it first. It took a while to figure out what the cache actually was, but it was soon discovered! Very clever! TFTC.

Late night find by Team Rocket on our way home from the Hunter Valley gardens christmas lights! We've been here during the day before, but decided to return at night to avoid muggles. TNLN SL
21-Nov-10
We loved this board walk! Especially how glittery it is! However our dogs hated walking on it and one even escaped his harness and made a run for it. Luckily he was too scared to actually run...
I got sunburnt because we had to wait a while for the muggles to clear before retrieving and replacing the cache. It's a very popular little walkway.

Found the cache quickly, but there were lots of muggles out for a walk, so we pretended to wait for a train as a decoy. The train never came, but eventually there was a break in the muggles so we could retrieve and sign the cache.

Dropped by this cache the other day to try and find it, but with lots of muggles around, we decided to leave it and come back. We'd guessed where the cache would be- and were exactly right. Mik-el ducked down to look for it, and it was right next to his head. TFTC!

Walked to this location from Hunter Valley Vista, but we were temporarily detained by a leech attack! The iPhone sent us all over the place, but after searching a few possible hiding places we gave up. After 2 previous DNFs we figured it may have been muggled so we didn't want to waste too much time looking. We will keep our eyes out for a find and come back and look again if it's still there.
Fairly easy walk from Sugar, Sugar. Wish we had bought some Salt, Salt with us though because I found a leech on my leg shortly after leaving GZ. I found the cache easily due to it being covered with an obviously placed rock.
Took the wrong path at first, but soon turned back and took the less obvious one. Quick find by Mik-el while I took some photos of the view.
Took a bit of searching as we couldn't find an obvious trail to GZ. Got thrown off by the word MILO scratched into a nearby tree and thought it was some kind of hint. Mik-el managed to spot a big rock and we headed towards it. Found the cache as soon as we got to the rock.
2nd find on my least favourite caching trip so far- thanks to the leech that decided to attack me.

1st find on my least favourite caching trip so far- thanks to the leech that decided to attack me. The walk up to this cache is steep, which meant I got to show off just how unfit I am. Mik-El and Waz enjoyed laughing at my weak legs, but I showed them by finding the cache before them! Some muggles walked up the stairs as soon as I found it, but luckily, they found the views from the other side of the shrubs better and we could sign the log easily before re-hiding the cache. Lots of bugs around today, so we snapped a few pics and quickly left to find the next cache.
Log is full. We managed to squish our log sign in, but it will need to be replaced soon!
There were a couple of dogs at GZ today, and no, I'm not talking about fellow team rocket members Mik-el and Waz. Once the dogs and their owners left, Mik-el pulled out his iPhone and said the cache was 8 metres away and pointed out the direction. We searched all around the area.... turns out it was right next to where mik-el was originally standing!!! Waz made the find and we signed the log and replaced the cache just as another dog turned up.

Lucky there were no muggles around because it would be hard to retrieve this cache sneakily ;p
Not sure where this cache was last time Team Rocket tried to find it, but by the looks of the wall it was very hidden. Much easier to find this time!! TFTH
I think a lot of nearby grass had been mown since the last time this cache was found!!! Managed to dig it out without a shovel though. Also learnt that a Colliery is not a place where Collies are bred. Guess that's what happens when you move from a non-coal mining area to Newcastle.
Some muggles stopped to rearrange their ute load at the exact same time we arrived at GZ. Once they left it was a quick find, despite the spider trying to scare us off.
Rick is still rolling!! Dropped by while we were in the area to check after the DNF and found the cache exactly where it is meant to be. Coords have also been confirmed as correct, but apparently the tree cover can confuse the GPS a bit.
