Logs for marko50au 

We found Waypoint 1 and Waypoint 2, but couldn't find the cache. Went back and re-checked the final co-ords. We must have been in the right place as I recognise the photo of the wasp/bee thing taken by urch1949 on 21/10/2007. Not finding these things is getting to be a real drag!

Nice hot and dusty day. Plenty of muggles (idiots) around. Eventually found the cache. TNLN.

First to find it for 2008...must be some sort of honour? I was amazed that we got all the 8 clues correct AND the calculations correct AND found the cache spot on first time!! A pleasant walk in the humidity and heat. Also note, the park is open till 7PM ATM, probably during summer/daylight savings.
Took: compass and badge.
Left: stick pin, hat and sunglasses (for the summer heat)

Yes, mozzies galore here! Found the cache. But not before the battery went flat and had to get the car charger from home, or No. 2 daughter would have had a hissy-fit. Cache is chockers full of stuff. Hopefully safely hidden where inquisitive kids won't find it. Signed the log. TNLN.

Pleasant stroll in bushland. Saw some wildlife. Soon found the cache. TLNL.

Co-ords put us about 3 metres out from the GZ? Looked in the obvious (?) place and soon found it. Signed the log. TNLN. Better to go later in the day as fewer muggles around.

So sad that we couldn't find it. However, reading some of the previous logs, that's not too bad. Except we couldn't even find the first tag. Perhaps I'll watch and try again later.

Also could not find the co-ords on the pole. Perhaps they have been painted over? Was a (nice) hot day. It is a shame some people chose native bush areas like this as a rubbish tip.

LOTS of muggles around this one....three days before Xmas won't help. Had to wait until the coast was clear. Eventually found it. Great spot. TN, left bracelet and 20c.

Cache is hidden in a good location, a bit dusty on the way in. Went looking with the wife and kids. Kids ran on ahead and saw nothing - that's not unusual. Eventually found the cache.
