And now for the sightseeing! We came here first as it is the most iconic sight and is the symbol of Germany. A lovely virtual to get here too! Thanks for the cache! Danke für den Cache!
On holiday in Germany for five days with CoinKezza and the Yorkshire Geocaching contingent! Me and Kerry turned up in Berlin for two days and are planning to head to Hamburg for the Giga over the weekend!
On the first day we arrived and head straight to Potzdamer Platz, where we found a number of interesting caches and poignant memorials. We then head to the LEGO cache to find milestones: 8,000th for me and 3,500th for Kerry. After food we then checked into our apartment.
On Thursday we head into Berlin proper for a good lot of sightseeing and caches. We visited the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Tiergarten, Museum Island, Alexanderplatz and East Side Gallery, before I met up with a university friend who was coincidentally in the city too.
On Friday we travelled from Berlin to Hamburg! The plan is to arrive, meet with friends, get the webcam cache, and get some Virtuals by boat, before heading down to the event to get things started!

We walked up from the museum district to get to the Anne Frank House. The homomonument was on my list of places to visit before we got there. When we visited there were placards advocating trans rights for sex workers in the city - sorely needed. Dan was able to find the cache nearby. Bedankt voor de cache!

Tried this one a few weeks ago at night but scared myself silly. Returned in the daytime for a quick find. TFTC!
A quick find once on the right side. The container was full of water but I signed the log as best I could. TFTC.
