Logs for megawatty

17-Apr-15
Is there nothing better than this type of cache? Another great walk through White's Hill with enough time for the kids to have a play in the fantastic new playground.

It seems that not even a fire has destroyed this cache.

Dad, Ems, Liam and Tash.

Nice easy to find for Dad, Liam and Ems. Just around the corner from home so off we trotted.

Went down and up and down and up and down and up.

Sad Dad and kids. Sad

Liam's first genuine find without my help. Such a proud Dad today!

Thanks for taking us to a nice suburban park.

Didn't even know that this multi-million dollar bike path was even here!

Well hidden but easy enough to locate.

TFTC!

First cache find with some new Geofriends who were interested in this great hobby.

Nice easy find and up we go to the next one!

TFTC

Awwww. It's a turtle. Oh. It's dead!

Pretty easy find and away we go again.

A fantastic walk along the waterway and a truly mighty specimen!

Thanks for leading us to such a beautiful location.

Stunning little church in the middle of the suburbs. So great to find a place that is still in such immaculate condition nearly 150 years on.

Thanks for bring us to see.

Looked and looked and looked and looked and nothing. Sad

As per a previous log, my phone sent me way higher than I needed to be. Had it have left us in the right spot then the clue would've made absolute sense.

Our first cache back for a while so I guess we were a little "rusty".

Ems, Liam, Tashbo, Dad and The Mum (kind of).

We're back! The weather was just way too nice to knock back a day of geocaching. And what better way to get back into it than some more of Eloise!

Nice find Liam and we're off to the next one. Smile

So there's the track! Oops! Oh well. Another great Eloise design but boy it's warming up! Perhaps some time for lunch and then a few more.

22-Jun-14
Well that will go as my most Easterly find! What an amazing location with stunning warm water in winter.

15-Jun-14
Great little cache. Noticed that someone left their dinosaur behind. Hope it doesn't do any damage!

02-Jun-14
Woohoo! Cache number 100!

And of course it was going to be memorable. Once it was located, like so many others, the log popped out and dropped under the boardwalk. Anyway, once retrieved, log signed and promptly replaced before any other trouble occurred.

Beautiful view and those trees on either side frame a picture so perfectly!

TFTC.

Mmmmm. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Probably should've put a stick or something up there first to make sure there was nothing that could bite me!

Anyway, all skin still in tact and off we go to the next one.

TFTC!

Far out. It was the very first place I went to but didn't think it was it because the other types I've seen like this are so much easier. Instead I wasted 15 minutes hunting where I shouldn't have until I decided again to use some force.

Lovely park. TFTC.

And our final one in this series. Doing it in reverse means we have a long walk back to Dicky Beach but honestly, that means nothing on such a beautiful day amongst a beautiful setting, with a beautiful person.

Thanks for taking the time to drop these caches.

Another great hide along a beautiful walking track. Thanks so much for bringing us out here.

Had to drop something on the ground to get a good look whilst bogan muggles played in the park.

All good and was nicely found and replaced. Thanks for the bit of shade on a beautiful coast day.

Great place for a cache and a great cache in general. Love how you have protected it as well.

Thanks for the cache!

30-May-14
Night cache with some Tooheys New and a sit on the beach. The sounds of the ocean....

TFTC

No pen so couldn't sign log.

27-May-14
Great little part of the city. Mid morning was basically muggle free. Thanks for taking us there!

Wow! What a cool little place for a cache. It somehow reminded me of being in Melbourne.

I will be back to visit the cool little cafe and test the quality of their caffeinated drinks.

Cache was an easy find and with construction going on there is very little muggle viewing activities opposite.

Great cache. Thanks so much!

25-May-14
Yum!

I love Greek Yoghurt and actually had some this morning with Granola!

Thanks for making me realise again just how good a breakfast I had! Smile

Very sneaky but a very well constructed cache and a beautiful park. Thanks so much for the chance to grab a cache in a nice shaded area whilst heading back to the car from the blowhole.

A first find for GeoNephew at a place that just has some amazing views. Who would have an issue living anywhere around here? Just stunning!

First time find for GeoAunty. Such a beautiful river, but why do we continue to pollute these beautiful places? Removed the front grill of a fan that was so close to being in the river.

Thanks for bringing us here and off we go to the next.

Just like number 1 another nice hide in a beautiful part of the world.

It must have looked so suss with a group of 9 people wandering all around GZ, but luckily kids take away a lot if attention. Not sure if the cache is in it's original place but it's still there and ready to be found again.

Thanks for the cache!

24-May-14
Thank you so much for getting us out and about amongst the bush and headland. The Farm is such a stunning place in this amazing country of ours.

This was a special cache find as it was GeoNanny's first, just one day before her 69th birthday.

23-May-14
Looked under under and under. Looked like a goose. DNF.

Ahhhhh. The beautiful east coast with the sun rising up and over the water. Great historical site and more hidden from muffles than you first think.

On holidays from Brisbane and found this one as my first in The Gong.

04-May-14
Great container and it is in great condition just as it is. So many muffles but you have got to love having curious kids with you to hide the suspicion. Smile

Dad, Ems, Liam and Tashbo!

Sitting back with a bottler beer writing up today's logs.

Well, this was something else! A great hide and certainly a memorable one. Thanks for taking us to such a beautiful tree!

Cache required a good amount of manoeuvring one handed and teeth to hold different parts. No drool was released though!

Returned as found and off to South Bank.

Found by Tashbo along with Dad (climber), Ems and Liam (wannabe 5 year old climber).

Cheers!

Well it might not be in the spiky bushes but my legs tell me it's close!

Shame there was a soccer match on and no sign of Jugger.

Thanks for bringing us to a great park anyway.

Dad, Ems, Liam and Tashbo.

22-Apr-14
Well hidden. TFTC.

Managed to score it with the Emirates A380 passing over!

Cheers Tollies. We miss you!

15-Apr-14
Cache located nice and close to tracks. It is however quite drenched inside. Pushed it in a bit deeper to try and save it from the elements.

Tashbo took the Geokids over whilst Dad cooked the sausages. Great part of Brisbane with great facilities.

Part of a 6k walk that was a bit longer than we thought. Cache found and logged!

14-Apr-14
Wow, that is quite some shrine!

I saw this notification come through on the weekend but unfortunately the kids weren't with me to attempt a FTF.

Anyway we were determined to find the next in the series and came across it fairly quickly.

Where's the next one? Wink

Swapped a dinosaur and Squinky for a duck and clover clip.

Also put a TB in for someone to send further on its journey!

Thanks so much,
Dad, Ems, Liam and Tashbo

There didn't seem to be any log pages left and after a bit of rain it was mozzie central leaving the kids a bit disappointed that they couldn't leave a drawing.

Anyway cache is in good condition and reasonably dry after a full day of rain.

Thanks for the cache!
Dad, Ems, Liam and Tashbo

10-Apr-14
As per other logs, GPS was all over the place at GZ. Went out with dioxide_ssv and it was a true combined find.

It now contains a trackable!

Dad, Ems and Liam.

Number 1 was inaccessible today so we headed down and did the rest. Overall a great series of caches and some good hides. Thanks for the caches.
