Last cache in the UK; heading home tomorrow on the 0705 from Downham Market to KingsX by BritRail, then to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line, to Keflavik and on to Denver by Iceland Air. A long day; thank heaven for wine., and thanks for the cache. (Grin)

On a Thanksgiving trip to VA and return, caching as the opportunity arises and weather permits. TFTC. Found with TCL. Found a Colorado travel promotional cache, a colorful ammo can, at the Vona water tower a year or so ago. Glad to find another cache here today.

Out with TCL for a Labor Day run in a new area that promised a clutch of caches close together. And so we found; twenty caches in the two hours we had available. A great day to be caching, and a great caching day. TFTC. TNSL. This was number fifteen. Wonder what the name means?

(Not a buffalo and attractive anymore, but still where one would expect it to be.)

My only Rotorua find; chugged over to it from the Lakeside Cafe, where other tour members were grabbing tea and toilets. Glad it was a quick find; barely got back before the coach was loading for a continuation of the tour of the city. On a Smithsonian Journey.

After going around the block and alley, never getting with 300 feet of the given location, TLC found an artwork in the area that seemed to be in the general area, went in the given direction and distance, and behold, the cache. Legend CX GPS had beaucoup problems in cities.
In Wellington, taking the coach tour and stopped here. Lovely views, not too Windy Wellington yet. Way too many people to look for the other cache up here.

Cool evening in Wellington; aren't they all? But pleasant to a Colorado boy after some of the heat across the ditch. Took TB.
Out in the wind with TLC, strolling the shops and artworks of this capital. TLC found it from the description after the GPS got us close enough to find the art.

strolling through the park on a warmish day, found in the only logical place, and with good coordinates.

Nice five point multi. Should have entered them all to start, would have saved some circling. Had to come back the second day for the final; got dark.
12-Nov-08
Found while strolling with 33 fellow travelers through the park. Had to let them get ahead while TCL covered for me.

Forty five minute tea stop in Arrowtown, enough to trot to the site, uo the hill the hard way, find the cache, take a few photos of the cabin, and return by the easy path --steps with habdrails!-- before the break was over. Thanks for this hike and find.

Fit in perfectly with the description of the cacher for whom the cache was designed; in a hotel reasonably close but without personal transport and with limited time. TLC saw the cache location, but was unwilling to crawl through the damp, so I lept -creaked-- to the find. Thanks

Found the park on day one, geting dark, was put off by the matilda stashed in the corner so came back in the daylight with TLC to find the cache. Really nice hide. Really lousy G
PS reception. Really neat paths throughout this lovely city.

Neat hide; couldn't get it day one, way to muggle infested. Returned at 0630 and found the area clear and the cache readily findable.

A bit of a bother. The GPS had me in a completely different crossroads about a block away. Gave up and went on to the next cache, and passed the seating arrangement in the clue. A quick and easy search found the cache. Impossible without the clue and a bit of luck.

What an interesting city of contrasts. This was the first of many ANZAC memorials I visited during a month in Oz and NZ. TFTC

Nice cache, along one of the loneliest stretches of highway from Ulura to Alice. No one in the coach saw me or noticed that I wandered away.

My welcome to Australian caching! Easy find with TLC providing conversational cover with nearby early morning tourists. And saw wallabies behind the hotel!

Absolutely, it's art. And quiet good, I think. Makes me think of the Big Sur coast in California, big surf coming in. Thanks for the hunt.
