CYCLE OR WALK to the Lookout (Hawkes Bay)

Found it with the Black Parrot! We were visiting Napier and took this track for a bike ride. Stopped on the spot for a a bit of bird watching and wondered if there's a cache around and viola! Dropped a lovely flip flop travel bug for a bit of a trip.

Redwoods (Bay of Plenty)

Waypoint 3 was not quite as described. It was about 60 metres past the co-ordinates, the letter was I (not K) and it was a red plaque (not orange). The number on it however led to the final cache.
As a result we spent about an hour looking for this waypoint - we didn't think the red one was the correct one - only when we had given up did we decide to take the number on the red plaque on the off-chance that it might lead us to the final cache.
Fantastic area to spend a couple of hours. So many really tall trees in one area. Really enjoyed our time here!!!

Phew!! That was interesting, we found the cache just by luck. It was nostalgic for Black Parrot to have found again the bridge he remembered so well on his first visit to New Zealand 25 years ago!
