Found on Saturday 22 January.
Decided to re-visit this cache after finding Weta Motel and was going past anyway. Had actually been here with my brother Team_Gaters back in jan 2018. Logged in the book but forgot to log the find….so had to return. I seem to remember that it was in a different spot but I could be wrong…I’m getting old and my memory is getting fuzzy. TFTC.

Actually second visit to this cache. Came with my brother Team_Gaters the previous weekend. We took the “this doesn’t look like a proper track” track. Thankfully we all made it to GZ with no one falling down the side of the hill and breaking a bone. Didn’t log my visit…doh…so had to plan a return visit. Came back on the 22nd and followed the sensible “proper track”. Great adventure. TFTC.

Nice find with Teamgaters while the kids investigated the little fishies in the water. TFTC. 

Initially looked in the wrong spot but then it was a quick find. TFTC. 

One of the youngest in the crew found this one. Great wee cache. Then off to look for crabs under the rocks on the beach. TFTC.

Haven't been out caching for sometime...had to remind the juniors to use their "geocaching eyes"...TFTC 

Managed to avoid the falling acorns....a quick find on a nice wee stroll. TFTC 

Enjoyed the walk through the forest...very pretty area...will come back on our bikes for another adventure. Dropped off a TB. TFTC. 

Would definitely recommend to NOT wear jandals....ouch, ouch, ouch.....a couple of the juniors braved the final part of the walk to GZ....was cursing myself for not bringing a pen but luckily Miss Junior found a pen in the cache - Yay!! A cool little adventure walk while the tide was right....TFTC

Sent the Mr along to find this one. Kept juniors in the car as it was a busy stretch of road. TFTC 

Had all eyes looking for this. Scrabbled around looking, looking.....until the eagle eyes of the Mr spotted it. TFTC. 

Sent the Mr to find this one. I pointed him to the likely location and he found it. TFTC 

We got a few odd looks from the "sports" muggles but managed to find the cache easily. TFTC. 

A bit of fossicking around but we managed to find it. TFTC 

The junior and I were expecting a tricky hide. He had a "boys look" and didn't see it. I had a proper look and found it. Loved it!! TFTC. 

Out for a drive with the juniors. Had to be careful as a muggle was in a car nearby. Sent the junior to poke around and find this one. TFTC. 

Out for a walk with the juniors, the dog and nana2five. We used to live in one of the streets nearby so this was a regular playground for the juniors. It was easy to figure out the likely location. The juniors were quick to find it. TFTC.

On a road trip to CHCH with the kids stop. The kids just loved the seals and we found a cach just by looking around (no GPS didn't even know if there was one there just looked in all the right pleases) TFTC

Looked for this one in the dark one night but couldn't find it. Came back in daylight and found it - a nice easy find. TFTC

I've been up this way a lot lately, but never close enough to get this cache until today. Have taken Le Dwarf for a sunny holiday in Nelson. TFTC
