Good cache, although some slugs had tried to make it their home. This area needs more caches!!
Great Cache.Very novel container.Haven't seen one of those for awhile -almost an antique !!!! First cache found after a long break from geocaching.Last cache I tried to find was in the antarctic almost two years ago,so a bit warmer looking for this one. Thanks Darth Trader.

Found the mother of all lodes!.Boy was this sucker heavy.Lugged it out opened it up and left a travel bug. Thanks Madstars this is probally the biggest cache we'll ever find.
This cache gave me the biggest headache of the new 13.I just could'nt find a way to GZ.Finally at end of day lucked on the obvious route and parked 30m away. This would probably be a 2million dollar view !
Every time I see a pelican I can't help but think of the urban myth about a chihauwha being eaten.Anyway TFTC
Thanks big matt and shell for organising a great day and Madstars for 13 newies.Apologies for not making the dinner as my little bloke got a dose of the sun and I took him home midafternoon.
When I eventually found this I wasn't suprised by late afternoon only 2 other people had found it.The clue is apt but it's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.Satisfying find.
This took awhile and me looking like an idiot climbing up and down the wall.eventually came away with a find
This was the second of two FTF's today and we did it the hard way bush bashing from beneath the track.A muggle passing me at GZ asked me if I was looking for orchids!
What an odd structure.Approached from below and after poking about eventually came up with the goods.TFTC
Managed a FTF by starting at the bottom of Madstars list of new caches for event day.Underturd I found this fairly quickly.TFTC

Sorry Big Matt And Shell for the lateness of reply but if I could confirm two more for the dinner at Raymond Terrace that would be great.

Decided to find our 200th cache on fathers day,and intended to make it the "biggy" of madstars caches -"Mother Lode".Shock horror on getting to the bay and turning on the GPS we had'nt downloaded the co-ordinates of same.Luckily still had Love-30 in the memory as each time we've been before it's been muggle central. No dads playing tennis today so we came, found and logged our 200th cache. Many thanks to Madstars for being such an integral part of our geo caching from the beginning to now. This cache was the 64th madstars cache we've found and it's amazing that one family has been responsible for 32% of our finds. Thanks again guys for your dedication and imagination for this pastime.Hoping to get to the Port Stephens weekend soon and meet you in person.Cheers Ninox Strenua.

Waited for some muggle kids to go,fended off the poultry and swooped on the cache.TFTC
Thanx team triton, waited for a break in the drive-thru ,a quick mcflurry of activity and voila mc-cache was found.I'm lovin it.
I can credit steelrat for tantalising my geocaching tastebuds on my first cache ever........"down among the deadmen".It's good to see his other offerings are just as good. Thanks for a brilliant cache.Traversed Maitland and East Maitland stuffing up some clues but eventually finding my way to the "broad" coordinates of GZ.After looking in vain for 40mins and cursing the geocaching gods and re-read the final clue and widened my search which led to cache being discovered.GREAT cache well stocked and not overly visited looking at the log.Took a TB and left another.

Was distracted by seeing an uncommon bird called a pheasant coucal hop out onto the road just before the GZ.While I was trying to see this geoson had already found the cache ,logged it and was back in the car.TFTC !
2nd go at this and again was frustrated to the extreme.A group of curious people were starting to watch our antics from across the road at the pub,so we discretely withdrew.Damn ! I'm going to find this bloody cache if it kills me.
2nd go to find this one and unfortunately the site was muggle central.Maybe 3rd time lucky ?
This cache is very close to the Clay Target club that I'm a member at.A quick find this a.m before heading off to break some clays.TFTC

My GPS went absolutely spare about 20m from GZ.Only by reading the clues and posts was I able to guess the location.TFTC
Great multicache.Lived in the richmond area as a kid and was ignorant of the devestation of the 1876 flood. No problems with working out clues and the additional hint was very apt.TFTC - the best of the day.
great cache ack ,son of hack. These micros always bring a smile to my face.Unlike Rainbow spirits log no cops or nooky going on. TFTC
Excellent hide acko. This had me guessing to the last! I didn't want to be the first listed no-find. TFTC
Nothing is more satisfying than returning to a cache that you could'nt find previously and finding it.Great hide .Took my non engineering brain about 5mins to work out how to get the top off but then logic prevailed.Great cache, great container (never seen one like that before!) and a great location.TFTC jay trent.
did 10 geocaches today and this was by far the most dangerous!!!!.. Was dive bombed continuosly by a very persistent magpie. It was an effort to keep an eye on the GPS.TFTC
At first sight I feared the council had slashed the scrub and cache as well. But managed to find the cache bravely hanging onto it's hiding place.took two coins and left two. TFTC

Found the cache container opened and strewn over the ground .All items including travelbugs gone.Only log book remained.Replaced log in cache and rehid it in probable original position.Sorry Mr and Mrs Nilbog you might need to find another site.Muggle bastards at large.

Bouy o bouy indeed. When I first read this cache name I expected to turn up near the waterfront. What a strange surprise.TFTC Madstars.
Good hide .Watched with amusement as my young son eventually discovered it.TFTC Madstars.
Nice little park.My GPS was way off,but found a likely looking site with the clues. Thanks Madstars.
our only no-find with the hawks nest caches.Looked down low and dirty for a long way along waterfront to no avail.Gives us an excuse to come back to Hawks nest again!
What a dump this place has become.Rather than Uluru it's use-the-loo. Ticked off this cache after a morning spent at Hawks Nest finding Madstars latest offerings.TFTC
Great cache Madstars.Left a very special travel bug I found in Tokyo last week. It's a shark that wants to travel to areas with other sharks so I hope that a few swim under the singing bridge.Hopefully somebody can move him up/down the coast.

found it quite easily.Recommend the nearby oysters- a dozen mornay with a cold beer to celebrate a successful days geocaching.
