Fantastic view, if only it wasn't so cloudy. Parked in the car park at south bay and ambled off to find the cache. Was a little worried as the tide was coming in. Easy find as it was visible from the track. The other half said that she would rather jump off the Sky Tower (which she already had) than scramble down the cliff. Got there eventually. Took power ball and left a pen. We also got chatting to one of the locals who told us a little history of south bay since he had lived there for 50 odd years. Great place for the adventurous and those equiped with mountain gear .

Wow, what a excellent site. Wandered up what we thought was a very steep track, silly us, didn't realise this was actually a cycle track, when we turned one of the corners, two (very brave) cyclists were on the way down, narrowly missing us and nearly ending up over the side. I think they were as shocked as we were. Took a little time to find the well hidden cache, as the co-ords were slightly out and we spent too much time looking on the wrong side. Took a pen and replaced with another pen. Spectacular views and we found an easy way down. TFTC.

Tricky to find at first and chose the wrong time of day to look, due to the endless stream of muggles passing by. After resorting to the clue we found it. Left 2 x 1 pennies (uk) and took 10 cents (nz). Signed log book and replaced where found. Excellent cache site, TFTC.

Brought over TB from the uk 'junior the beak' and placed him securely into this very 'gusty' cache. Excellent views of the bays even with the low cloud. Left TB. Took 'clip'. T4TC.
