The falls were full the day after torrential rain which soaked us to the skin on the way back from visiting the market. The locals were delighted the drought had ended, but my black T-shirt dyed my white pants purple. Lovely falls, but the mosquitos were out in force that day. Thank you for bringing us here. TFTC

We were offered a lift to this motu by the Treddlecat owner. His Dalmatian swam alongside! We found lots of different sorts of coral. Lovely cache..great place. TFTC

Only had 3 days in Tonga, on Fafa Island, so bagged this one on Tongatapu on the way to the airport...the courier agreed to give us a tour of the island to pass the time to the flight. Consequently we could only stay 15 minutes or so. This was nowhere near enough. We walked only a short way but I could have stayed, watching for hours. One of the most breathtaking places I have seen. We did take a little video footage as well as stills. Wonderful. Thank you for bringing us here.

Amazing coincidence that the CO is known to be a friend of a friend, in a faraway country!The day we visited was beautiful, as was the Cape. I was moved to tears by the grandeur of it all! Fabulous! Thank you for bringing us here.
On a trip around the world lasting 4 and a half weeks and visiting 9 countries, this day, doing the Cape Runner trip to Cape Reinga was my husband's favourite, probably mine too. It was a beautiful, windy September day. A magical place, and gorgeous. We met a similar "jumping off" place in Rarotongan lore. TFTC
