You might call me a PITA after reading this post. I can't wait to see the next one! Don't waste the link I'm leaving you with... Scorn and shame on the person following me if you wimp out and not start from my EXACT ending point.
Link #1: N 29° 39.064 W 082° 20.870 After reading Marine Biologist's post it got me thinking about alligators which reminded me of the time I went geocaching in Gainesville with The Federation. One of the caches was at the University of Florida whose mascot is the gator.
Link #2: N 30° 18.255 W 081° 39.292 Whenever I think about caching with The Federation, I can't help but remember all of the jokes and pranks that go back and forth between us. One that is particularly memorable is the time he broadcast my VERY embarassing experience (and my 500th cache find) at The Federations Urban Micro 8 (GCGRJ4). The Great One showed neither discretion nor mercy so, as is my nature, a proper retaliatory strike was in order. Shortly thereafter, The Federation MUST PAY (GCGX5D) was born. I suggest you browse both cache pages for a full discourse on the subject. All of this leads me to my second set of coordinates which are of the rear end of the pitiable lion whose bad fortune gave it an important role in my revenge on The Great One. Some may say I have a fetish. Some would say The Federation has one too. After you finish reading this, you may agree.
Link #3: N 30° 18.537 W 081° 41.121 Here I stand at a crossroads... a watershed if you will.... I could easily finish this triptych with an easy to follow discourse on lions or zoos or even the fact that there are three lions, etc. etc. blah blah BLAH! That would be TOO easy... and even dishonest! I am of course assuming these are supposed to be HONEST leaps of logic and not some contrived gibberish designed merely to earn a smiley. Right? Well.... my logic leads me not down the easy paths but to a darker one... when I think about my second link I think not about the noble lion, but of EXACTLY where the cache was hid... which leads me to my third set of coordinates which is this beatiful house on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. The house is not really the object of my logic (though it is dark and scary), it is the building's occupant and owner. A man who my ex-wife knew both professionally and intimately at the same time (pity her though he is a kind and gentle man). His name shall remain hidden so as to not cause any undue embarassment, harassment or lawsuits against this geocacher. At this point I am sure those who are unfamiliar with the above referenced caches are totally lost. What does this man have to do with the exact location of a cache? Well.....
he is a proctologist.

This is the Napoleon Bonaparte Broward bridge in Jacksonville, Florida. No one (except the DOT) knows it by that name. It is called the Dames Point Bridge. Check out my nearby geocache for a goof on the name. This bridge was the subject of much controversy as a bridge to nowhere when it was being planned.
