Good little Sunday afternoon find on our way home. Thanks for the cache!

Good one! TFTC ️

Great little hide. Could do with a new log as it’s a bit dilapidated. TFTC! ️

What a gorgeous road. Quick find, sign & safely placed back. TFTC ️

A new favourite park for us, thanks for the discovery took us a while to find which presented with a terrific challenge. TFTC!

Found! Thanks for the hide!

Nice spot! TFTC

Last one for our day, found, signed & re-hid. TFTC!

After a very long break from Geocaching, we bounded back into it with this neat little one. Thanks for the hide, we found it no worries, although a GCCC guy did happen to drive past & wonder what we were up to, even though we tried our best not to look conspicuous!

Found it nice & easy, a quick log in the book & re-hide. TFTC!

Our first Cache for 2016! And I think I signed it with 2015... haha! Wink nice spot, look out for the big Roos hopping by too! Log signed & re-hidden in its spot. TFTC Smile

16-Dec-15
We almost gave up on this one, the gps ran us a little astray, as did the pics! Thanks to one of the previous finders, we followed their hint & soon had cache in hand! Please note, cache was *very wet* inside which made logging impossible so we used a spare post-it note we had on hand. TFTC!

15-Nov-15
GPS had us a little confused at first but Mr Petalani caught on with the help of the hint & recent log descriptions & we soon had cache in hand. Signed & re-hidden in its safe spot. TFTC!

Haven't had much to do with this part of Robina. Nice spot for a walk & a great geo find. Thank you!

Geokids were most intrigued by this cache's name Smile sneaky hide, a good spot to sit even though many Muggles drove past it wasn't obvious what we were up to. Should be noted that the ziplock bag is worn & has holes, although the log & cache insides are still dry. Log signed & carefully re-hidden in its spot. TFTC!

11-Oct-15
On our way home from camping at Maroon, Geokid wanted to stop off & investigate this bus stop. He loved the creative cache Smile Log signed & re-hidden in its spot, thanks for the cache!

What a cool spot for a cache! As we had to use my Dad's motorboat, we had to let him in on what we were about to attempt. Being the typical muggle, he was confused despite the explanation & tried to feign interest at first but soon was the one asking to see the map again & eager to get out there & discover this "geo-thingy" Wink haha
My iPhone GPS lead us straight there without problem (thank goodness for offline list saving) & soon my Geo-hubby was head-first out of the boat in search. Seems the Dam's water level is a bit low as the cache wasn't 2.5m down, but the description is still accurate enough. Inside the cache was some water, but the ziplock bag saved the logbook. I signed while Hubby emptied the water & corrected the seal & then replaced in the found spot appropriately.
Afterwards our Teen wanted to also see where the cache was, so him & I rowed out in our inflatable canoe... definitely achievable quicker with a motorboat haha Wink
Thanks for the awesome cache Lucasladd... next visit we'll definitely attempt Water Crossings #2.

(Catching up on some late logs)
We had an awesome day down in the area for a swim on a gorgeous spring day...had a thought to check the area for cache's and this one was a perfect adventure for our Geo-family. We had to be a little sly with a few muggles in the area, but had the crafty cache in hand pretty swiftly. Log signed & re-hid in its spot. Thanks for a cool cache find in a terrific spot.

(Catching up on some late logging)
Been meaning to check this one out for a while, finally got the chance to after a day out & about. Very nice quiet spot. Log signed & re-hid in its spot, thanks for the cache!

At last, out lucky 100th cache!! We're stoked! Thanks for the cache!! Signed & put back in its spot Smile (on a side note, so sad to see the nearby rock house has been demolished, that was a small part of Springbrook history).

A quick find for us on our way along the beautiful springbrook rd, we're aiming to break out 100th today & this was #99! TFTC!

We grabbed this quick find on our way back, signed & re-hidden in its spot. TFTC!

Well, turns out we've actually already found this one but forgot to log it!! And strangely enough almost a year ago to date.... So technically we'd already hit our 100th.... Ah whatever the case Yay for another smiley in our map Wink haha
The hiding spot is great but *please note* the cache has taken some damage, the container has been broken & the logbook, although of the waterproof kind, is wet. We were able to sign it however & put it back in its spot.

Our last find for our day, and what a view. Cache signed & back in its spot. TFTC!

We'd found the other caches on previous visits to the park but we're delighted to see a 'new' one we hadn't found waiting for us. A lovely walk & terrific spot for a cache. Signed & put safely back in its spot. TFTC!

A quick find while we were in the vicinity. The wind that preceded the oncoming massive Spring storm was whipping up so we didn't stick around for long, but loved the view nonetheless. TFTC & for bringing us to this spot. Cache signed & back safe in its spot.

26-Sep-15
On a day out to keep the kids active, we found this one easily enough located at a great spot. Thanks for the hide! Oh and yes the log is super full so a change of log would be a good idea Smile TFTC!

We initially looked in the wrong spot but then soon had cache in hand. I loved the logbook cover. TFTC!

Had a bit of a rough time with the iPhone GPS in this area, but once we d'loaded it to an offline saved list we were good to go Smile
This was our daughter's first cache find, she was sooo excited, thank you for her being her little geocaching milestone Smile cache log signed & re-hid in its spot. TFTC!

Great spot for a cache, thanks for taking us here Smile Cache found, signed & re-his in its spot. TFTC!

23-Sep-15
A good searching around the area with only the hint to help because the GPS wouldn't work on my phone gave us an little extra challenge Wink But son enough had cache in hand... Like the previous finder said, cache does need maintenance as the logbook was so damp I had major trouble logging in it & the container & ziplock was very wet too (I would've fixed it up if I had one spare on me). Thanks for the hide!

21-Sep-15
So happy to have finally found this one! We've been trying to look for this sneaky one on various occasions but was never at GZ at the right time - timing with Muggles is a big factor with this (or at least we felt so). Finally got the opportunity to sneak a good inconspicuous search & Mr Petalani had cache in hand in no time. As already mentioned, Log is almost full, only one spot left. Signed & carefully re-hid in its spot. TFTC!

13-Sep-15
We were having lunch at the park closer to the skate park but when my energetic 6yr old JuniorGeo saw there was one "really close" we decided to embark on a walk... I'm really glad he decided this for us because it was actually a lovely walk around the creek bend Smile
Finding the GC actually took us a bit but wasn't overly hard. Log signed & carefully Re-hidden in its spot. TFTC!

06-Sep-15
The junior Geocacher's absolutely loved where this one was located & enjoyed knowing more about Murwillumbah's history thru finding this cache. A special find for Father & son to do on Father's day. Cache signed & carefully re-hid. TFTC Smile

Sweet little park... we were in town to celebrate Fathers Day & thought it would be fun for Father & Son to get some smileys on our Map while we were here. Cute & sneaky, TFTC!

23-Aug-15
Having lived in Bonogin for many years, this cache has been on my to-do list for a while, and finally today was the day! An awesome hike...we actually went a slightly different route because I didn't turn on the navigation but followed the directions only to begin with. Not a worry though, still led me to the right intersection & GZ was located easily enough after an amazing walk thru the gorgeous Bonogin Bush. Thank you so much for placing this cache, we had a great day!

18-Aug-15
Awesome Cache. Love the idea of keeping card games in here just to play with while visiting the beautiful surrounds. Today it was just myself & Mr Petalani that found this one, so we'll have to come back another day with our Junior Geo's who would just love the nearby peaceful parklands. Thanks for a cool find, log signed (left the TB's for others) & carefully re-hid Smile

11-Aug-15
We live close by as Bonogin locals, yet still never knew this awesome rock gully was accessible. Cache took us two visits to find, was a little bit of a good challenge at first because our iPhone's GPS was a little off, but we found it on the second attempt Smile Cache is in good condition, safe & sound, although sadly the neighbouring Python is no longer as we found him RIP a little further on up the gully Sad Gorgeous spot, TFTC!

09-Aug-15
Junior Geocacher found this one. We love how creative your Geocache's are! Signed log & carefully re-hid, thanks for the awesome cache!

All four members of Team Petalani were on the hunt for this one, but to no avail. Not sure if it's been muggled or we were just off our game, but will keep an eye on the log & will be back again another day!

No wonder this cache has so many favorite points, what a terrific hide. Beautiful park, will have to re-visit another day when we have more time. Cache in hand, neither too hard nor too easy... log signed & carefully re-hid. Thanks for another awesome creative cache Nottinghammers!

11-Jul-15
Thanks for showing us this nice park, kids loved the play area. Only a few muggles around so early in the morning so that made it a little easier for us to hunt. Used the hint nonetheless, thanks! The cache log is dry but wanted to note that the contents of swaps are a fair bit mouldy from dampiness of the inside of the cache. Log signed & re-hid safe in its spot Smile

06-Jul-15
Found after a lovely afternoon at the nearby Pirate Park with the kids. Terrific spot for a hidden cache, log signed & re-hid. TFTC Aussie Liahona!

05-Jul-15
Thanks for the cool cache!

04-Jul-15
Took a little patience to find this one with all the muggles out enjoying the sunny day as well. Kids learnt to be stealthy & we soon had cache in hand. Treasures swapped, log signed & cache re-hid. Thanks for the cache!

What an awesome cache for the geokids...they loved it. Swaps swapped, log signed & carefully re-hid in it's place. TFTC Petan!

We began our search quietly for this geocache but couldn't find it in the spot we assumed it would be according to the GPS. Then we became aware that the neighboring Muggles were interested in our presence & so we decided to leave it for another day's search. Ordinarily I wouldn't log a DNF unless I'm sure the cache isn't in it's spot, however I'm logging this more for as a friendly geo-warning.. unless your there for a fish or a meandering walk, the muggle neighbors will be watching what you're up to Wink

This one was a bit of a challenge for us, we searched high & low & were almost about to give up....then Mr Petalani found & everyone was happy & satisfied Wink We swapped some cool 'treasures', signed the log & re-hid in it's place. TFTC!

Out for a Sunday Geocaching with the kids, they had good fun hunting for this one. Swapped some treasures, log signed & re-hid in it's place. TFTC!

Gold Coast cacher's travelling thru with some time to spare so we dropped to find this one. Nice little park & a good hide, kids were happy to swap some items as we signed the log. Carefully re-hid & back on our way. TFTC!
