Wish we had a push bike. Would have enjoyed a ride on the cycle way. Easy find once the GPS settled down.
18-Aug-12
An easy find. Cache was laying on the ground but intact, replaced in its hiding spot. What a view from the top. Well worth the visit.

On our way north on a tag along tour. Stopped off and found this one and introduced the group to geocaching. Nice area for break on the road trip.

An interesting part of Charters Towers and an easy find. Container needs to be replaced.
29-Jul-12
Did not expect this to be easy however even thinking about previous hides and the possibilities here we were not successful. However it did get us to a beutiful part of Charters Towers. While this will not be counted as a find we feel that it was for us.
A nice touch putting the cache here. Took a couple of minutes for the GPS to settle then there it was.
28-Jul-12
Took a few minutes. The visit to the Big Rig display was worth the visit. Didn't realise how little we knew about our oil and gas industry

Just thought we would drive past, however on a winter sunday afternoon there were very few muggles around so we had a look. A quick find in the middle of town.
Nice walk in the late winter afternoon. The GPS was a bit all over the place but eventually found it.

Spent 20 mins here Will have to get eagle eyed geo-grandaughter on to this one. I suspect it is not that difficult
30-Jun-12
The eagle eyes of our smallest Geo kid had this one before we could start looking. The last of a pleasent hour walking around Valley Heights
A nice walk around Valley Heights with the Four Runners. Easy find for the Geo kids

A similar hide to one we did not long ago in NZ. Only this one was reachable. A lovely park and a magnificent memorial.
Not sure that this was in the spirit of caching. An interesting location well worth the effort BUT when confronted with so many obvious hideing spots just walked away. GPS was all over the place which did not help.
Very cunning, nothing more to say about the cache. A lovely park in the middle of town.
A not so clear day today. Again it was a case of letting the GPS do its thing and there it was.

Second go at this one. Once allowance was made for GPS error we located it very quickly.
An interesting peice of Shoalhaven history. Took a few mins but there it was.
Not to hard. Read the logs and sometimes you find a clue. Very interesting.
28-Apr-12
An easy find to end the day on our way home. No trains today. Nice to see a memorial to a Navy NCO.
