08-Aug-10
Team Pigmeat were at the Convent when we decided to see if there were any caches about and this was the one! Found at 1450 - left nothing took nothing. Visited the Bee man afterwards (just up the path).

09-Jul-10
Family day out before school starts again. Saw the kangaroos just as I got to the goods. GPS had me about 8m off the mark, but I found it ok. Took nothing, left nothing apart from my mark in the log book.

First cache of four for the afternoon. Just as I was returning the goods to its hiding spot I looked up and there were five sets of eyes staring at me from lower down on the bank of the river. I don't know if they saw what I was up to, but I stayed there until they went away. Hope I didn't blow the cover! Should be okay. Nice spot thanks.

Family day out before school starts again. Took nothing, left nothing apart from my mark in the log book.

Family day out before school starts again. Some strangers passing by just as I got to the goods, had to wait until the coast was clear. Took nothing, left nothing apart from my mark in the log book.

03-Jul-10
My son & his friend joined me in finding The Hump. Walking distance from home, but we left it very late and by the time we got to the next cache (Mini Park) it was too dark to find the goods. We were the third-party to log in today. Thanks for the good times!

Team pigmeat found on this rainy day @ 1600.

09-Apr-10
Ingenious container – It blew the kid’s heads off! Didn’t log in because of the size of the log sheet & besides I didn’t have that small tool to retrieve it. Maybe next time – I basically live at the end of this street ~300m away. Found @ 1:58pm.

Found quite quickly. Having kids with you who’re willing to crawl around looking in low places helps a lot. Didn’t log in because of the size of the log sheet & I hear it’s full. Found @ 2:35pm

Found with the kids, but didn't log in because of a guy sitting nearby. Went back a few weeks later to write down our visit.

08-Aug-09
This is the second closest cache to my home so I decided to visit with my son on our bikes on such a lovely winter’s day. Took nothing, but left a Hunter & Native.

This is the second cache for the day. My son & I visited on our bikes on such a lovely winter’s day. Trains had just gone by when we arrived and everyone dispersed quite quickly leaving us alone to log in and get out.

19-Jul-09
Our friends have just moved to Romsey and we made an afternoon of Geocaching the local area, this was the third one for the day. Found at 4:20pm, took watch, and left two native hunters. We did a bit of bushwalking to get there and walked in circles for a while before the GPS locked onto the satellites. Now I know I’m the Banana King with bananas in my ears.

Our friends have just moved to Romsey and we made an afternoon of Geocaching the local area, this was the fourth and last one for the day (kids were getting shirty) . Found at 5:00pm, took batman card, and left a native hunter. This took us the longest to find. Thumbs up.

Our friends have just moved to Romsey and we made an afternoon of Geocaching the local area, this was the second one for the day. Found at 3:30pm, took screwdriver, and left two native hunters. Found a cachet of K’NEX nearby, but left it because it smelt like rotten fish.

Our friends have just moved to Romsey and we made an afternoon of Geocaching the local area, this was the logical first stop on our journey – walking distance from their home. Found at 2:30pm took bubbles, left a native hunter.

18-Jul-09
Haven't been Geocaching for a while, so I logged in and found this one not far from home. I was joined by my son and our bikes. We couldn’t find our compass, so I took bearings from the sun and my wristwatch, which worked out okay for us. Took nothing and left a native hunter. Thanks for setting this up.

23-Feb-08
Second attempt - previous attempts have always been prevented by dog owners who love this area. Was out riding with my son and we were close by so I took the opportunity to find it. Took nothing left my log in the book.

20-Dec-07
We were staying at the Lodge and had a few minutes to spare, so I walked to this one with my son. Came at the cache from wrong side, so had to do a bit of climbing. Took nothing. The container has become very brittle in the sun and I managed to put my thumb through it whilst re-sealing. Went back later with some tape to repair it. Not sure how long it'll last, so if anyone's planning to find this one could you please bring a new 1Lt container? I couldn't find one at the general store.

11-Oct-07
Found the goods in my lunch break - only 10min walk from work. Schools back and being a weekday the place was deserted. I took a rubber lizard and left a button badge. Thanks for the adventure.

04-Feb-07
Spent the afternoon at a Sandringham beach with the family, where we found GCH1X1. On the way home we stopped in at Beach Access. We also found ohbeeone and wife taking their dog for a walk. Thanks for the good times Muzza Wink

The family and I had just spent the afternoon swimming, when we started looking for this one. Turns out we were very close to the final location.

Jammed packed full of goodies - I really wanted to take the spider, but I had nothing to offer so just logged in.

03-Feb-07
No one has found this one since December and now three in one day!? I actually found this a while back, but I had no pen at the time. Logged in at midday while my son was at swimming lessons.

13-Aug-06
Collected the clue on the way through to the prom. My son got sick at the prom so we had to leave a day early. On the way back we found this one with ease. It was dark and we were in a bit of a rush so we just logged in, left nothing and took nothing.

12-Aug-06
This is the only cache I managed to attempt in the park while here. I'm green at this activity, so that's why I may not have found it in the 20 minutes I spent in this spot looking for it. I did enjoy the view see my attached panorama.

15-Jul-06
I found this location on a previous expedition, but was unable to access cache due to the amount of people. This time the rain kept people from loitering, so I was able to access and depart without anyone about. Took nothing & left nothing.

11-Jun-06
Gathered the clues found the spot on GPS, but there a people playing football, so I left to come back another day.

06-Jun-06
6-6-06 the devils date – good day to find my first ever cache. I only got my GPS 5 days ago and this cache is only 800m from my work. After walking in circles for a while I found it! My circular walking motion got the attention of some Vic Road guys who kept their evil eye on me, but I don’t think they saw me grab the goods, but they probably got my number plate as I left. I expect a visit any moment now from the authorities. Took a crocodile and left a slightly chewed dinosaur. Thanks for the fun and the beginning of something new.
