It was one year ago today that Firefly24 and I made the ultimate find. It was our 5 year cacheversary, find #2000 for her and find #4000 for me. We remember the temperature was a beautiful 73 degrees with some slight gusty winds. I could go on and on, but I just wanted to say - Alas dear Mingo; we remember you well. Hope to get by there and Dodge City again in the future. 

TB Dip 

It's been a long time planning and figuring how to get it done, but Firefly24 and I did it. Today is my 5th cacheiversary and Mingo was find #4000. We got there this morning about 20 minutes before 10 and not a soul was around so we had the whole place to ourselves to make pictures, savor the moment and swap trackables. I wish I could say more. However, I did set up my iPad to video the approach from about a mile out to the discovery. We left after about an hour and went to hunt other caches and just to see what the little community of Mingo holds. Coming back through, we saw some other cachers had made the find. We swung back down just to say "hi" and congratulate them on the milestone they made. Nice folks from Wisconsin (RJ McKenzie and family) and Maryland (Bardenl); great to meet new cachers especially at the "Godfather" of caches. It kind of makes them family now. Thanks for making a dream come true a memorable one. A favorite, absolutely.

Congratulations to Kansas Stasher and Mingo for breaking the 1000 favorites mark. Wish I could have gotten there sooner so as to be part of the contribution, but I'll be there for the second 1000.
I was hoping to make it this spring before the weather got too hot, but that's not going to happen. However I think that's for a reason. My 5th cacheversary will be in July, and I'll be close to 4000 finds by then based on my predictions. So what better treat than to make this a triple-play! I'm going for it! 

Got this one today with Firefly24 on an outing to Alabama to get some certain caches. TFTC
