Unfortunately we have archived this cache as we haven't had the time to reinstate it.

When time permits we will resurrect this cache as it is one of our favorites.

I apologise for the delay in repairing the final waypoint. It is taking longer than we initially anticipated.
We hope to have this rectified in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers,

Rubus

The damp log book has been dried out and the container has been modified to hopefully prevent further dampness.

Cheers,

We apologise for the inconvenience but waypoint 2 was missing. This has been replaced and we hope you enjoy this multi-cache again.

Poor Roger has been replaced and although he is hollow he is looking in better shape then his uncle.

Waypoint 2 has been replaced and there should not be too much difficulty in dialling up its location as the co-ordinates have been updated.

02-Nov-14
We have found a suitable replacement for waypoint 2 and with time permitting we plan to restore this cache in a fortnight.

Cheers,

We have temporarily disabled this listing as it appears that waypoint 2 has gone missing. We hope to rectify this as soon as possible after we find an appropriate replacement.

The 'funny balloon' has been removed. I'm not sure who placed it there.

We really enjoyed this multicache and like many have said before me this is the best multicache that I have done. It was fascinating reading the history of each tombstone and collecting the details for the final GZ. Unfortunately after sopending quite some time in the heat we left empty handed and fully resolved to return for another search in the near future. Thanks very much maccamob for the effort put into this great multicache.

After spending a couple of days at Moonambel I decided to search for a few geocaches in the area. We enjoyed the township of Avoca and the surrounding wineries. We toured the local waterfall only to discover that it hasn't been flowing for over twelve months. A quick search of GZ and the cache was soon in hand. I like the cache. TFTC.

After spending a couple of days at Moonambel I decided to search for a few geocaches in the area. Following a short drive in the 4WD along the track we were at GZ in no time. What a great view from GZ and oddly enough there seems to be no promotion of this lookout. Following a quick find and a couple of happy snaps we were on our way. TFTC and thanks for taking us to this great viewpoint.

Whilst staying in Moonambel for a couple of days. I decided a to go on a short trek for a few caches in the area. This GZ gave us a thrill and there was certainly some effort put in by the locals. After a quick find at 5.10pm and a happy snap we were on our way. The funny thing was it felt like we were being watched by the motley crew as we were searching. Thanks for the cache.

Whilst camping in Bright we decided to introduce friends to geocaching. I'm certainly glad we did because they were thrilled when they found this cache although the search left our younger members going nuts. With the cache in hand our younger members were eager to search for more. TFTC sarrett

Whilst camping in Bright we decided to introduce friends to geocaching. This was the first multicache for our friends and they enjoyed answering the questions to ascertain the final GZ. After a quick search the cache was soon in hand. T1L1SL. TFTC AussiePuschaks

Whilst camping in Bright we decided to introduce friends to geocaching. This was the first in our travels. We would have loved a bit of time to spend here to have a dip but we had a few more to go. The younger members found the cache in record time which kept them eager to search for more. T1L1Sl TFTC Alansee

Whilst camping in Bright we decided to introduce friends to geocaching. This one was the last for the day and the kids raced to where the logical spots were. Following a half hour search in over 40 degrees we left disappointed without the cache. However we are determined to come back next year and have a more thorough search. Thanks peterbm. We will return.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the final cache for the afternoon and following a short search the cache was in hand. TFTC sarrett.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the ninth cache for the afternoon. I must have passed this historic marker at least forty times never knowing what it referred to. The history was fascinating and thank you BettyBoo 3747 for taking me here. TFTC

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the eighth cache for the afternoon. The cache was soon in hand. Although it appears to be protected by a couple of wasp nests. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the third cache for the afternoon and following a quick search the cache was soon in hand. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the seventh cache for the afternoon and yet another one that left us scratching our heads for a few minutes. A short time later the cache was in hand. We love the cache for this one. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the fifth cache for the afternoon. The geo kids had cycled ahead at this point and by the time I arrived at GZ they had the cache in their possession. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the fourth cache for the afternoon and another quick search located the cache. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the sixth cache for the afternoon and left us scratching our heads for a few minutes. So much so that we decided to go ahead to Eurobin and have another search on our return. Five to ten minutes into our return visit the cache was in hand. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

For some reason that is still not apparent to me the geo kids and I decided to cycle from Bright to Eurobin and back in 42 degrees and in our travels search for ten caches. This was the second cache for the afternoon and left us scratching our heads for a few minutes. A short time later the cache was in hand. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

After several attempts twelve months ago we made the great discovery today at 1.45pm. We were not going to let this cache defeat us. Thanks very much jindi kid for the thought that you put into this cache. TNLN TFTC

Checked geocache for maintenance and log book was still inside. All correct.

12-Oct-13
After much ribbing the old Roger has been replaced by a more stable model, albeit much smaller.

20-May-13
This afternoon I have replaced the missing log book with a new one. Thanks very much 'Paul the Hippy' for the temporary repair.

02-Feb-13
Located at 1800hrs and it was 'refreshing' to find the cache. The geokids and I love the park and like others we stayed for a play. Thanks for the location 80degrees.

We have repaired the cache including installing a new log and contents. We have moved the cache to a better and hopefully drier location a couple of hundred metres up the road.
