Bunygrl and I biked up to the washout, where I carried them across. When we got to the logs, I was thinking seriously about ditching the bikes there. But, after Bunygrl reading about how Johnnyboy had done it, it wasn't long before I was carrying the bikes across. The rest of the ride went slowly due to the heat and several rocky road conditions. Enjoyed the town, and would have loved to continued to venture further, but we had to get back to pick up Bunygrl's kids, so back down the hill we went. Things were going good until she caught a rock with her tire and promptly did a header into the middle of a rocky area. As easy as she bruises, I'm sure she'll look pretty at work tomorrow. With that as our only mishap, it was a really fun trip. Thanks for bringing me here!

Great time with great people! The way this event is growing, we might think about a bigger place next year.

This is the entrance to Camp Brinkley, one of four camps belonging to Chief Seattle Council. I've attended this one several times a Scoutmaster. Two years ago it was transformed into a Cub Scout Camp and the back section became Camp Pigott for Boy Scouts. This pic was taken while doing the five mile map and compass hike for Second Class.

This is the jetti located in Port Gamble, Washington. A neat historic little tourist town that grew up around logging. A nice place to stop for an ice cream on a warm summer day.
