Spent a week enjoying the Magic Kingdom, Epcot etc. Wow, what a place! A break from the blizzard conditions we left in Kansas it was awesome to spend a week in shorts in December!

The castle was most impressive at night lit by all the lights. Tons of photos and memories to be had on this trip!

I was really excited when I saw this cache. I have personally only seen one of these Gargoyles like this and I had no clue there were others!

This one is in WICHITA KANSAS! It drains the water off of the carraige entrance at the Campbell Castle which was built in 1888.

There is another Gargoyle at the peak of the roof above the main entrance & I have a photo of it as well, but the one over the carraige entrance is the one that qualifies!

The castle is now a very nice bed and breakfast. If you are ever in the area you should stop by and take a look or even a nights stay!

MARION LAKE, KANSAS

Out for a day of caching in the area when we decided to stop and get a photo of Marion Lake.

The dam was completed in 1968 by the CORPS OF ENGINEERS. It has 6,200 acres of water and an additional 6,000 acres of public ground around it.

Great Walleye fishing here in the middle of Kansas.
