What a nice spot, tucked away between the city buildings. Many thanks for the Virtual and a new Jasmer month for me

Had a lovely few days in Hong Kong and it was great to bag some lovely Virtuals which are not so abundant in Ireland. Sadly we missed the firing of the canon by about two minutes and had to content ourselves with hearing it.
Many thanks for the cache.

100m from the hotel so a must visit. Found the container quickly but it requires maintenance. I’ll try sort that out before I leave HK. Thanks for the cache

This weekend I found myself in the fine company of Bohstom, Bohsdee, Wayne0, mattie_p, GerLor and gaffer.gamgee under the moniker ‘Bonkers Irish Geocachers’ or ‘BIG’ for the purposes of logbook signing. The plan was a trip to Luxembourg. Well, Luxembourg was the starting waypoint for the 5 countries we were going to visit in less than 48 hours.
Our main aim was to visit some World War bunkers, which turned out to be highlight of our whistle stop tour. Along with some notable caches such as GC40 in Belgium, members of our group also chose some caches that they wanted for Jasmer dates, DTs, earthcaches, hidden dates etc. It was a case of quality over quantity and we also wanted to attempt 6 countries in one day, which we managed to do!
GC40 was top of my list of caches I wanted to find. It’s almost mythical in geocaching terms. We arrived under cover of darkness after a long day of driving and collecting caches and we weren’t disappointed. It was a great feeling to log this cache and many thanks to the CO for maintaining such a rare Jasmer cache. Favourite point from me.
