Well since the world didn't end this morning, it's time to find some caches! The roads were clear enough to leave McCook today on my way to the oldest active cache - Mingo.
I trudged through the snow here and first went to the wrong bush. I then made some other tracks in the snow to not be obvious.
As I turned around, I spied the cache container in different area nearby.
The container was frozen to the ground but with a little tug it released.
Thanks for placing this and showing me the center

I was on my way back to Missouri from visiting some family in Nebraska early for the holidays and I wanted to grab a cache in Oakley. From reading the descriptions, I chose this one. Keeping the youth entertained and active is always a great thing.
The cache wasn't where I thought it would be but I still found it in good time. Seeing the grocery across the street is making my stomach growl. I guess it's time to grab a bite to eat. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing me here and for the history of this place.

What a cool sign! I had been traveling for the holidays and was on the way home via a small detour to Mingo. Welcome to Oberlin was find #1900 for me. I might have missed seeing this cool sign as I was driving south. Thank you for placing this and giving me a reason to stop and look.
What a nice little town. We thought we might run into another cacher as there were footprints in the snow leading back to near GZ but there was no one around. We made a small trade and took the geocoin to move along to visit Mingo and back to Missouri. I look forward to coming through this little town aagain in the spring. Thanks for placing this and introducing me to Selden.
