With corenz - Great view and excellent bit of history surrounding the cache. Looks like council workers(?) have culled a fair amount of trees etc from the area recently, but case still safely hidden. TFTC.
As seems common with these Wellington caches the view from the top is most excellent. Ran off with the TB and will deploy somewhere closer to CHCH. CoreNZ covers the transfers. Thanks for the cache

What a neat little micro cache! Very impressed with the construction of it. Will certainly keep in mind for my own micro cache one day. TFTC.

Spotted very easily once we widened our search. Muggle was right on top of it! Moved off presently and away we went.

Finally got around to visting the only web cam on in the South Island!
It looks like the camera has been knocked since the last visit and needs retargeting at present about half the photo is windowsill so I had to basically sit on the camera to get in the photo
A cunning plan is to make sure you have a friend to call to check that the camera has taken a photo with you in it before leaving, it appears the timing is also off.
Thanks for the chache

I'm not a fisherman, but I'm going to get me one of these lures just so I can come back and swap one.
I tried really hard on the cache. Standing on the fence for 90% of the time.
This is a cool cache / idea.
No idea what that Kiwijam is on about.

How lazy / foolish of us to drive from the nearby cache?
Ah well, Mrs Kiwijam is pregnant.

Kiwijam was so excited by his 300th cache that he almost passed out.
I can't back that up.

Another find spent standing on the fence.
Mostly to distract the locals fixated on planes.

Popped past with Tarkwyn, and dropped of the Kookaburra TB. Kookaburra is a decently sized plush toy, so there is very little room in the cache at the moment. Hopefully the TB will travel off out of NZ (and not back to AUS)

Spent a while wandering the paths and totally missed the jail on our first couple of passes. Those are some dark dark tunnels.
Had hoped to Kayak here, but the weather denied us. CoreNZ did the work while I climbed around the trees and rocks. Almost gave up as GPS was acting dodgy.

CoreNZ and I declare Thames to hot to begin the training.
Took Kookaburra TB for delivery to South Island.

Lovely bush walk, haven't hugged a Kauri in far too long. Had to park the car at the ford as cars in front blocked the road, but not much farther to walk.
Thanks for the cache.
