Logs for sullwold

19-Jan-17
Waited until the museum closed and a few muggles left to get to the geocache. Left a travel bug from the USA. Nice hide. Saw two tuataras thru the back windows afterwards, too, basking in the late evening sun.

Did not find the TB I had in my luggage when I left NZ. Can only guess it may be in this cache. Will the next visitor please check carefully for it and take it along. I am writing the owner to let him know the TB is lost in Middle Earth. Thanks.

Cache had water in it, but dried it out. Zip kept water from contents, but log book was very damp. Left it in the sun for a bit because it was a brilliant day. Fencing has moved as mentioned before. I measured 15 steps aways from the bench before looking NNW to find the tree as described. Warning: Watch for nettles. Took fairy. Left US coins. Left TB coin.

Come on, Jabba, check this again. Couldn't find with two searching and 45 minutes. Would be nice to have a better clue if the cache is really here. Tis a pretty view.

Beautiful view of Hawkes Bay and very spiritual site. Found cache after much looking, a bit further from the fence than 3 meters.

Found it. Could use a bit more 'log' paper. Left a coin.

Nice cache. Fun to find with friend new to caching. Took TB to find it a new home very soon. Left a US coin.

Great day. School group left area just as we arrived. German tourists approached just as we had left the area. Camo bag quite wet, but box was dry. Tried to repair the zip bag with log book.

Good clue. DOC doing some work in the area. Found with no problem, just a bit of looking, and it is in good condition.

Did not take all the directions with me Sad Did not find. Spotty GPS readings, too.

Took reading three times. All three times GPS took me to the same place. Found fallen trees. Looked and looked but found only a bag of yukky fleece and crushed beer can. No cache. Will probably not return on this vacation. Right on about the trout, though. Caught and released.

Nice day for the park. Visited all suggested sites. Lot of workers out today, but found a quite time to seize the cache, only to be surprised by a cyclist. His head was down and he kept going so I think the cache is safe.

Took Geocoin. TFTF

Many muggles. Had to wait 30 minutes but have employed a cover as a photographer to speed my search. Easy find. + US coin - beaner. Very nice walk. TFTC

Easy find. Grabbed cache and took to car to log visit. Police stopped and came over. ??? He just wanted to know if I had seen a red Sbarro speeding through. Whew. Took photo but cannot upload yet. TFTF

Beautiful day for a visit to the park. Found the cache in good order. Left a US penny, took nothing. The paint brushes are a great addition.

Found the first clue with coords for the second. Made our way to the second location but nothing could be found after two searches in two days.
