Found it same day as walterhellmut I guess, but they were first to log their (return) visit. Since we are on holiday, it sometimes takes awhile to find Internet access.

Took the travel bug and geocoin on an overseas journey, going to sunny Arizona in a few days when we return from holiday.

Left two Grand Canyon pins, a USA dollar coin, and five bookmarks from Boyce Thompson Arboretum near Superior, Arizona.

TFTC!

17-Jun-07
Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took Cairns Taipans keychain and left blue mini flashlight (torch). TFTC!

Originally logged at our B&B at Cape Tribulation. Easy find, but you have to be quick to grab it in between cars of muggles.

Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took the FTF geocoin, left the last of our mini flashlights (torch). TFTC!

Originally logged at our B&B in Cape Tribulation. Nice beach. Even though it was raining lightly, there were people fishing and having a picnic.

15-Jun-07
Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took Kiwi travel bug, left Grand Canyon pin to show where the kiwi is headed. TFTC!

Originally logged at our B&B in Cape Tribulation. When we found the cache, we realized we forgot our geostash, so that was the end of caching for the day. Two days later we were back to leave the pin and continue the cache run again.

Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took keychain lanyard, left purple mini flashlight (torch). Also picked up a leech, and bites from something else... Thanks for the cache anyway!

Originally logged at our B&B in Cape Tribulation. Got some cortizone cream from the pharmacist near Palm Cove, so I have recovered from this cache search Smile

Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took puzzle ball, left a green mini flashlight (torch). TFTC!

Originally logged at our B&B in Cape Tribulation. Fantastic view. But we drove by the next day and the clouds were so low there was no view at all.

Sorry, I just now remembered to log a note on this cache. We found some kind of maintenance truck parked right at ground zero, with some guys sitting inside I think maybe eating their lunch. They had left tools lying around while they sat in the truck, so it looked like they would be there awhile. So we didn't really look for the cache, but we did see a bottle of bubbles, like we had seen in other caches, just lying on the ground, cap off and half empty. It looked like the guys had been clearing brush around the area also. So the cache may need to be checked to make sure it is still there.

Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took cricket, left blue mini flashlight (torch). TFTC!

Originally logged at our B&B in Cape Tribulation. Had to make a quick grab in between carloads and campervans of muggles.

11-Jun-07
Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. The hubby got chewed by the vine. Took pen, left mini flashlight (torch). Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. We stayed at a B&B on Tully Falls Road, so this cache was close by. Lots of muggles around; had to wait for them to leave and then just barely signed the log when more showed up.

Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took mouse, left mini flashlight (torch). Also took taxi travel bug to head to Arizona, and left a Grand Canyon pin to show where he is going. Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. These falls are really pretty. We were all looking around when some muggles came up behind us and we didn't hear them over the roar of the falls until they said Hi. We then waited for them to leave and found it quickly, needed Hubby with his longer arms to retrieve it though. We felt really brave looking for a cache after seeing the sign at the park entrance about unexploded munitions!

09-Jun-07
Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona, after almost finding yesterday -- we arrived just after some other cachers so we decided to come back later since we were staying nearby. It seems they dropped off a travel bug, so we picked up the tractor and will drop him off when we get home in a few weeks. Left a Grand Canyon pin to show where the tractor is heading. Also took a mouse and left a pink mini flashlight (torch). The gardens were closed again, so did not go in. Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged in the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. We stayed at Fur N Feathers just across the road from Eden, so it was easy for us to come back the next day and find this cache. The garden was never open the three days we stayed at FNF, too bad.

Well we don't have the fanciest GPS, but we did our best here. We found a fallen tree that we thought was the right one, but after looking for a few minutes without success, some muggles showed up. We were a bit surprised to see other people there. There are quite a few stinging trees around too, so we gave up on this one.

From the description and clue, I'm sure we were in the right place but could not find it. Lots of muggles around, so we walked around the lake and found "What's the Story" cache, then came back for another try, but still did not find.

Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Did the circuit walk around the lake, had lunch at the tearoom, and took the boat tour. Saw lots of animals and birds on the boat, and on the walk we almost stepped on what they tell us from our description was a Death Adder. Our daughter continued the story, we took the Australia playing cards, and left five bookmarks from Boyce Thompson Arboretum in our home state of Arizona. Thanks for the cache!

08-Jun-07
Found by Team Mesazoo, from Mesa, Arizona. Not many birds to see, but it was mid-afternoon. Not much water there. Took mouse, left red mini flashlight (torch--sorry I keep forgetting to call it that). Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. This was our first cache in Australia. Geocaching is a great way to see areas where most tourists don't go, we found some really beautiful places we would not have gone if we weren't looking for a cache too.

Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took bubbles, left green mini flashlight (torch). Some hike, but a beautiful waterfall. Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. Finally, this one we found before makira today Smile but they drove farther along the road? trail? before parking. Hubby wanted to drive farther than we did but I had visions of having to call the car rental company for a tow out.... Red Face so I made him park sooner and we walked farther. That beautiful waterfall was worth it though!

Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took big cheetah, left two USA quarters with animals on them, they were the only animal items we had. GPS mostly useless here, found mostly by the clue. Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. Our second Australia cache. Apparently we were caching same areas as makira today, but they had a much better GPS. Ours works great in the desert southwest USA where there are not many trees, but in the Australian rainforest it is not so good! We realized finally that we must have passed the cache, then waited until we were sure other cachers had gone, then found mostly using the clue.

Found by Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Lots of birds. Found quickly. Took Australia/Canada pin, left mini flashlight (torch). Thanks for the cache!

Originally logged at the internet cafe in Ravenshoe. We saw more birds here than at Mareeba Wetlands Reserve. Our third Australia cache. When we arrived there was one car in the parking lot, so grabbed the cache quickly and got back to our car just as the muggles walked back to theirs. We chatted a bit and they gave us great sightseeing advice, everyone we met in Australia is so nice and friendly!
