Logs for teamkiosc

11-Jul-14
Plenty of muggles about being such a nice day for a walk. TFTC.

02-Jul-14
Rather than creating more havoc at home deciding caching would be a more productive expenditure of holiday energy. Geokids had a play then scooted to GZ to make the find. TFTC.

29-Jun-14
The first spotted on our arrival to Sydney is the last found and probably the best view. TFTC.

Made this find yesterday but back today to drop off a TB friend.

28-Jun-14
A great start to a glorious day. Thankyou Sydney for turning it on for us Melburnians. A stroll across the bridge to burn off a massive brekkie. On the way back had a better look than at first and came up with the goods. TFTC.

Overshot another of the series so rejigged our intended order. Nice spot to sit and watch KenneallyKrew become ever flustered by my choice of pen. TFTC

Having read previous logs approached GZ with caution but it became apparent for the wrong reason. Tried to follow KenneallyKrew to GZ but a slew of muggles appeared and had to pretend I was getting a good vantage point for a photo. Tried to descend and came a cropper. Legs splayed, head down, bum up, no injuries and a good laugh. TFTC.

Only a few muggles but in very close proximity. Attempted to create a diversion while KenneallyKrew made a dash for it. Packed log retrieved so added a teeny strip of our map. TFTC.

Dark side of the city indeed. TFTC.

Sat down to avoid muggle detection and made visual contact with the pesky nano. Can cancel that optometrist appointment me thinks. TFTC.

Despite weary feet from trapping around town all day, this was a little too tempting to resist. Had to read a few logs to make the find but eventually got there. A word of warning, the gate we had passed through to get to GZ was being locked as we headed back. TFTC.

Came upon this one quicker than expected. Looking at the map was rather daunted but needn't have worried. TFTC.

Nice little quiet nook of the city. Could sit here a read a book quite comfortably.

27-Jun-14
Thanks to a cancelled flight we had a chance to wander over to this GZ. An easy find thanks to the hint once we were on the right path. Extreme muggle activity so went for quick rather than inconspicuous. Took a TB to join us on our rescheduled flight.

Well, our first stop after landing in Sydney town was Circular Quay. Found ourselves standing on my favourite authors plaque and remembered this was actually GZ for this spooky cache. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works were apparently used to train law enforcers at the time and I have a well worn copy of the collected works at home. So many stories to pick from but two notables are "A Scandal in Bohemia" where Holmes is outwitted by a woman and "The Reichenbach Falls" in which I thought I'd lost my favourite character.

21-Jun-14
It's amazing how fast one can write when muggles approach. Nearly done the full circuit.

Hunted quite a while but eventually made the find. Nearly back to base now.

The canine adventures continue. Used the hint and found many variations before cottoning on to the right one. TFTC.

Lucky the facilities accommodated a rest as we had to wait out a muggle. TFTC.

Youngest geodaughters first find! Might have something to do with her love of all things pink. Given her reluctance to join this is a big deal and hopefully lights the spark. TFTC.

Another to add to our find tally for this jaunt. We were carefully watched by a local of the canine variety but soon found our target and moved on.

Yay!!! Dorset circuit complete. Lovely walk and well worth the short drive. Thanks Mincka for the series.

Number 2 done and dusted. This tree house is home to a rather large arachnid we discovered.

Hopefully this is the first of quite a few today. Fingers crossed the weather and the geokids hold out. TFTC.

A nice quick find that we let the geokids do. TFTC.

13-Jun-14
Just one more before dinner. Been here many a time but never this far round. TFTC

Heading out tonight to dinner and found ourselves typically early. Set our sights on the nearest and after a little search had it in out hands. TFTC.

08-Jun-14
After an action packed overnight stay we had to get a couple of smileys before crossing back over the bridge. Had a quick snack here and realised how close we had been to GZ. A yummy find to end our trip.

Well worth the detour and delaying the chocolate factory visit. Kudos and a fave point for a magnificent effort.

31-May-14
A quick stroll and roll so a perfect cache op. TFTC

29-May-14
Saw our chance to get to this tonight with geokids at a sleepover. Had considered getting them to come along previously but glad we didn't as my expectation that this was a quick stroll was way off. More than likely increased the difficulty but taking a couple of wrong turns in the initial stages but after coming close to heading home empty handed got ourselves back on course after reading the description more carefully. TFTC spladem. A fave point from me.

17-May-14
Drawn by a nearby cache took a short walk here to check out the local bird life. GPS was way off but got there in the end. TFTC

Had time on our hands today to do a bit of caching so here we came. Left a notepad for a log.

Lived nearby for many years and never knew this place existed. Thanks for the reason to visit and TFTC.

A game just finishing but a little discretion and job done.

The number of favourites called for a visit and we weren't disappointed. TFTC.

Had pointed this out to geokids once before due to the related fairy tale but did not have time to search. More time on our hands so off we went. Luckily kenneallykrew has better eyes than I. TFTC.

11-May-14
TFTC.

Had scoped this out on a previous trip to the in laws so came prepared today. Very clever, TFTC.

03-May-14
Spent 5 minutes overthinking then reassessed and made the find. TFTC.

02-May-14
Joint FTF with Kenneallykrew. This popped up on the radar as being nearby so worded up my favourite caching buddy and headed out as soon as possible. Very proud of our very first FTF and so pleased to have discovered this shared pastime.

Can't believe the geokids hadn't heard the billy goat tale. A story for the drive home. TFTC.

26-Apr-14
Not enough time and too much activity here to have anything but a brief look. I apologise to who I suspect were fellow cachers for leading you astray. Will be back.

21-Apr-14
GPS a tad jumpy but eventually found under the watchful gaze of a crow. TFTC

Was going to attempt this yesterday but a smoker from the local establishment stood in view of GZ. Back today and coast was clear. TFTC.

20-Apr-14
Out for a morning walk and found this quickly between the many other muggle runners.

Escaped the chaos at camp for a quiet cache and picked this as a target. Quick, easy and what a dirty angel.

19-Apr-14
The promise to the geokids of visiting Fairy Island set us on this track. Spotted cache, made the grab and signed. TFTC.

TFTC. Stopped to take a few panorama shots and nearly got muggled out of the find.

18-Apr-14
Terrain a little too dicey for the geokids to get to so stayed with them whilst kenneallykrew made retrieval. We both signed the very soggy log and put it back just before the muggles arrived the admire the gorgeous view. TFTC.
