Found this on a walk with the kids (Megan & Byron) and Lynne.
Accuracy was a bit off, so we wandered around the bush a bit

Cache was getting a bit sparse - went and added some stuff.

Took Nemo, left a Diabetes geotag.

Found this on a first outing with our niece and nephew. Good location and hide. Never would have known that this was there!

Took a golfball, left "Chick Soup for the Soul" trackable. Will move the duck trackable on - probably to the US (possibly to the northern beaches of Sydney).

TTFC!!!

Sad Byron promptly lost the golfball and was a very unhappy little boy for a long time.

Dropped by here in the late morning while going to visit a family friend in Avalon. Amazing that this little park was up here where it was!

In: mini-clothes pin & bottle opener keychain
out: 'biener keychain and race car

Also grabbed TB Computer Says No

Mind the ticks up here - I picked one of those up also, to apparently no consequence, thank goodness.

Whew,
Left too late in the day and got to the area of this cache too close to dark. Unfortunately, we found it just as we were going to give up. Did a fast exchange and log entry (out: puppy keychain, in: beaded "frog" keychain), and tried to make our way back to the trail in the ever increasing dark.

It could have been a real fiasco, but I just happened to drop a waypoint where we went off the trail... so after some semi-eventful bush-bashing, we got back to the trail.

A good 1/2 moon and only light overcast kept it from being a real disaster. Thankfully, there is not much in the australian bush that would want to eat us!

Unseen wallabys / possums in the brush on the way out.

Lovely area - we have been visiting relatives in this area for years and never made it to this area...

thanks for the cache!

Found this without too much trouble - biggest problem was finding our way to the bottom... once there, our GPSr lost track, so we had to intuit our way there based on the hint.

(Made a little harder, as I hadn't actually come to this description page with all the photos... pulled this from a PQ of the area around some of my relatives).

Great hide, great cache.

Took - Koala fridge thermo...
Left - Dream Catcher, and a self-trackable butterfly.

TTFC.
