Logs for theBrown7

28-Apr-24
On our way to the Sydney Tower Eye and this was a beautiful and interesting stop.

Tftc-we were at the nearby Sydney Tower Eye today.

25-Apr-24
Not great weather for caching today but we had time to kill-tftc!

Definitely not the view we were hoping for-strong winds and rain but still glad we stopped-tftc!

24-Apr-24
Our first cache in Christchurch-thanks!

22-Apr-24
We have walked by for a few days now that it was time to log this one! Yesterday we went to the top to enjoy the sunset. Thanks for the cache!

Staying right nearby-tftc!

30-Apr-18
A neat place for a virtual-tftc!

08-Aug-15
Our target cache for the day after giving up in November in our attempt to reach the area. Today we came better prepared with better maps. We already have our Jasmer but can never resist the older ones - thanks for keeping this alive.

19-Apr-14
This was the goal cache for the day for Team Blooming Idiot-made up of tenebrous, Team V3, the Neumanns, PurpleHawks, spaceteacher and theBrown7. We had quite the adventure on the windy lake as the whitecaps kept rolling in and making our day that much harder. Tenebrus did a great job manning the captain duties for the day. This leaves me with just one hole left in my Jasmer and its only a few miles away-Woohoo!

28-Mar-14
Saturday April 19th from 9-5, we will have a 20 foot party boat rented for 8 hours (to do this cache and as many of the high rated and older ones on the lake that we can in 8 hours) We have plenty of room for others if anyone wishes to join us and share expenses. A realistic estimate is $299 plus tax equals $319.93 for the boat plus gas which others have said will be $100 or so for 8 hours. We currently have 5 people so that would be around $84 each-if we get just 3 more people, cost will drop to around $53 each-We have room for 4 more to join us-message me if you are interested-
this is the day before Easter

08-Mar-14
A few of us from NY will be down the day before Easter - Saturday April 19th. We plan to rent a boat and make a day of this oldie and the other 5T rated caches. We would be more than happy to share costs and the fun with others who are interested in the same and can be there on that day.

16-Jul-13
Impressive that we could do this one today without leaving our air conditioned car! TFTC!

30-Jun-12
Made the drive over from a horse show in Fort Worth today to log this oldie but goodie. We enjoyed the trek and the view! Thanks for keeping this one alive for the rest of the world to enjoy!
