Logs for trrroglodyte

Spur of the moment search. Was out for a milk shake with my daughter and was explaining the geocaching concept to her and she said "Lets go find one". This being the closest on my iPhone app off we went. Took a while to locate as my iPhone didn't have good service but my daughter spotted it. Had no swaps on us but it got my daughter interested so she's off to her Mum's tonight to get a few together.

Nice spot. TFTC

Thanks again Hi for a worthwhile Sunday stroll. You've sparked a keen interest now for me regarding Trig Points. Marvellous views on the way up and at GZ. Thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. Signed log but took nothing, just stood and gazed for a while. TFTC

I thought at first that my eTrex was telling me porkies as I was expecting a slightly different location but in the end I relented and followed its electronic prompts only to be reminded that it knows best. A great spot that I previously knew nothing of. Nice bird life and some welcome shade. Took the Australia pen and left some old ladies earrings that a friend passed onto me for the purpose of caching. Thanks Quasar. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Perfect day for a decent accent despite some serious hay-fever! Was good to finally get some 3G at GZ, was able to post some video to my caching mate in England. Cache when found was placed upside down and contents were wet. I dried them out in the sun for half an hour and then realised that it had been placed upside down as the lid is cracked. I'm afraid some of the trinkets are beyond repair. Left a pen as the moisture had ruined the one there. Might need a bit of maintenance, I too left cache upside down to minimise moisture.

TFTC Nutcache. I like the challenge posed by your choice of terrain.

Found this one today, I couldn't believe my eyes when I removed the lid. I was wishing I had something of reasonable value but alas not.... So, took nothing. It did take me a while to find as it had been relocated slightly and I must confess that it was a stroke of luck that my head was in the right place to catch a glimpse off in the distance.
A great environment for a hunt. Thanks again.
Two down two to go in this series.

At 45 I have finally discovered the beauty of hiking. Having nearly got lost I purchased a handheld GPS but needed to research the net as the instructions assumed some knowledge of GPS terms. That's how I stumbled upon geocaching this week.
Went in search this morning and I'm pleased to say that your cache was my first find. Took me a while and I did need the encrypted clue but I got there in the end and was totally thrilled. I went on to find the other three on this trail and had a marvellous morning.
Thank you for your efforts. I'll be hunting you down some more in the near future.

Four out of four. Lovely stuff! This is a tricky little hide. Took me ages to spot this bad boy. Got there in the end though. Had a great mornings walk and hunt. It was a thrilling intro to the whole geocaching lark. I was well impressed by the way the caches were hid so as to cause no impact on the surroundings and yet still present a challenge. Nice work Hi Pressure. You'll be hearing from me soon when I next get a chance to go out caching. Wink

Glory be I found the third. My little etrex H planted me right next to it so no clues were decrypted for this one.
One to go and the morning is about as good as it gets. I love this game, I love the way it relies on people's honesty and seems to receive it too. Third thank you for the day Hi Pressure. Cheers mate. Very Happy
