After a week at University house for a conference I finally found time for a stroll along the lake. The cache is in great shape. This one took me quite a bit as I made it harder than it should have been but I prevailed! TFTC

Wohoo, found it on a quick stop at the mint. Used stealth as there were several cameras nearby but made the find. TFTC 

What an interesting memorial and museum. We had an after hour tour during the social event of our workshop and got a lot of information about the building, the history, and the museum. In addition there's a neat earth cache! TFTC

Took me a while. The hint is a hint... I dropped a geocoin that wants to travel to academic places. Take it along and teach it if you will TFTC

Sneaky sneaky but at a beautiful location. Coords are spot one. Took me a moment to find! TFTG 

Ufridolin are visiting us in the US. They have a lot planned: Finding old geocaches, virtual geocaches, interesting geocaches, visiting the geocaching HQ... Yes, this "vacation" is all about geocaching. And we're happy to travel with them! TFTC! 

There's still construction going on but the gates were open when I got there and there were no guards in sight. Actually, a whole bunch of pedestrians were walking through and I got to GZ without problems. TFTC

Found this one while walking around the peak circle walk. Nice camo! TFTC! 

We found this one after coming back from the peak. Hubby took one possible spot and I took the other one close by - hubby won. TFTC! 

We hiked along the Hong Kong Peak Loop today, enjoying the gorgeous view and finding some geocaches! What a great day! Today is the last day of our Asia travels, and we enjoyed it very much. TFTC! Awesome hide, favorite for creativity!  

OK. This one was tough. I solved the steps of the multi on my first evening here. But I was not able to find the final. Bummed by this, I decided to come back on my last evening, and this time I brought my hubby. Again we couldn't find it. We then found out there is a geochecker. Luckily we found an open wlan, so we were able to check the coordinates and get another hint. This confused us even more, because apparently our coordinates were correct, but there was no such thing as mentioned in the hint! Plus, the bit.ly picture didn't load, and we tried again and again and again while searching the whole area. Finally we were able to spot something that matched the hint, and after that it was a pretty quick find, but it was quite a bit off from GZ. Bummer. So for everybody else: Make sure you check the picture before wasting a lot of time and getting tons of mosquito bites. (I checked it later at home - it would have been soooo much easier with the picture!!) Oh, and doing the whole thing in the dark also adds to the difficulty rating, but IMHO it also adds to the fun!! TFTC! 

We got really lucky with this one: Tons of muggles, but nobody at GZ! Yay! TFTC! 

We came from Kowloon by ferry today to visit the peak. We quickly went to grab this one before looking for the peak tram! TFTC!

Yeah I feel pretty stupid because instead of just finding the obvious answer I was thinking way too far. Oh well TFTC, nice area! 

Absolutely amazing view and a quick grab after all (I love these small ones ) Unfortunately, the lid is closed shut and I was unable to open the container. If you need proof I can send a photo (but it would spoil the location) 

What a nice view of the sky line. Unfortunately, we missed the light show but we enjoyed the walk of fame (aehm stars)  

GeoSense to the rescue! The GPS was off but my radar pointed to the right location and I was able to quickly make the grab! TFTC 

Out caching on a layover day in Hong Kong, this is our first cache in China, Wohoo!
