Description
Find a place* with a double name (see example) and get a photo and co-ords of yourself in front of a sign with the name. One log per location, but possibly more than one location per name.
e.g.
Kurri Kurri
S32°49.300 E151°29.400
*a place can be a town, suburb, city, street, park, river, bridge or whatever but it must have a sign with the name on it(twice).

I'm looking through archived locationless caches on GCA and came across this one. I noticed that this one hasn't had a find for Woy Woy yet, so I went hunting for a photo. I found the one placed on this log. A nice easy find for this one. TFTLC

Love some of the locations found, many bring a smile. How about resurrecting this, worthwhile I would say, Ta.

Jingi Jingi creek on the Warrego Highway west of Warra in Qld. Found this one on my Miles to Eromanga caching trip to tidy up the western Queensland caches that I have not had a go at. this is a very busy highway as it is not only the main road from brisbane to Quilpie but is the main highway from Brisbane to Longreach Mount isa and onwards through the Northern Territory to Darwin. There was a lot of traffi on the road as this area has two coal mines and is the access for four power stations.

Do I get bonus points for two gpsrs in the shot? TomTom is a poor substitute for a real gpsr, but my poor old Magellan Explorist 500 gpsr is seriously displaying it's ailments. The bottom elastic band is to hold the split casing together, and the top elastic band is to keep the electric contacts together so that the battery gets charged. Sadly it's not long for this world after long and faithful service. I won an auction on EBay on 7 Jun 10, for a new Magellan Explorist GC gpsr, which claims to be "the only gpsr specially designed for geocaching". I hope it lives up to that, because the Magellan Triton series is "the most un-geocache ready gpsr ever produced".

Spotted Doon Doon Creek on the road between Murwillumbah and Kyogle. Just had to stop to get a pic.
This makes up for the DNF I got at the cache at Gan Gan Hill Lookout. Sign is at the car park.
I am so pleased that locationless caches exist! Today was my eldest daughter's birthday, and she had two wishes... (i) that I refrain from geocaching for the day, so that I could spend more time with her; and (ii) that we have a family dinner at her favourite restaurant in Richmond, Minh Minh. I agreed to both wishes, on the understanding that a locationless cache isn't really geocaching - it's just a photo opportunity! (... and I couldn't break my current run of 20 consecutive days of finds!)
So, here's my photo, outside OUR favourite restaurant, Minh Minh, 94 Victoria Street, Richmond - S37° 48.601 E144° 59.688. If you are ever in the area and looking for a great place to eat, I guarantee you'll love Minh Minh. Sandy and the team provide excellent service, and the food is tasty and affordable. As you can see from the sign, it's not straight Vietnamese - there are Thai and Laotian influences in everything they do. It's so nice, they named it twice. Mmmmmmm!

WanderingAus wandered by on day 114 of a "climatic refugee" trip, heading home far too early imho, but The WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) has a function she MUST attend tomorrow. Two days of storms, heavy rain, and very strong head winds has had us using far too much fuel, so it was nice to wake up to almost still conditions for a change.
Belting along the Great Eastern Highway at 90 Km/Hr with the caravan behind I spotted the warning sign "Nulla Nulla East Rd", then the "Nulla Nulla East Rd" street sign at the intersection. Being familiar with the wheatbelt naming methodology I was expecting a warning sign for "Nulla Nulla West Rd", and had already lifted the foot. I wasn't disappointed, and by the time the "Nulla Nulla West Rd" street sign at the intersection came into view I was travelling slow enough to pull off the road opposite the sign and take a photo.
Shortly after resuming our journey we passed the sign for "Nulla Nulla Water Tanks", so I could possibly have claimed for five separate Nulla Nulla signs that day. For those that aren't aware, Nulla Nulla is a Nyungar word for a club.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 82 of a "climatic refugee" trip, finally heading South after almost 9 weeks in Darwin, and stopped for the night at the Devils Marbles Camping Area. The traditional owners name for the Devils Marbles is Karlwekarlwe or Karlu Karlu (there are four tribes which claim and have been granted Native Title to the area).
I did think of claiming two finds for this, one for "Karlwekarlwe" and one for "Karlu Karlu", but I decided that would be too cheeky. I was saddened to read that I had missed Munga Munga, which is located 10 Km from Tennant Creek and in white man language is known as "The Pebbles". We visited "The Pebbles" in 2003, four and a half years before learning of geocaching, and three and a half years before this cache was published.

There was a similar sign on the Southern entry to town, but a truck was hard on my hammer as I approached it so I wasn't game to pull over for that one. This one was only two hundred metres from GZ of Thirsty Thirsty and I was able to safely pull over and cross the road for the photo. From there it was only 56 CroKs to GC1NE9J Over The Line by the_robots and intarnets where I was eventually able to claim another FTF. WanderingAus wandered by on day 165 of a 6 month trip Wandering Australia, hunting down ga0107 "Edge of the World" by alex, and passed three signs on the way all with "Mundi Mundi Lookout" on them.
At the lookout (near GZ for "Edge of the World") a muggle seemed to be set in to stay for the long haul so we went on towards Umberumberka Reservoir. A short way down the road we passed the entrance to "Mundi Mundi Station".
After viewing the Reservoir we drove on and came to a lookout with the sign "Mundi Mundi Plains". I decided to claim that one for the cache, and leave the other three for other cachers.
On returning to "Mundi Mundi Lookout" (and passing a fourth "Mundi Mundi Lookout" sign) the muggle was still there, but eventually I was able to make the find of "Edge of the World". *Recommended* *Overall Experience: 3*
A few days after finally arriving home (on day 181 of the trip) I discovered a discrepancy in my find stats, and it has taken me three weeks to work out which log I missed out - this one of course. I'd written the log in Notepad, prepared the image file, and logged the finds before and after it, but somehow missed it. Still, better late than never.

Found this one on the Rex Highway between Mt Molloy and Mossman. The creek is so small they only used 1 post to place both signs on and each sign is double sided so we have a total of 8 Devils on this post. How devilish of them.
I'm afraid this isn't Nerrin Nerrin itself (which is about 11km south of here), but this marks the turn-off to it on the Glenelg Highway between Ballarat and Hamilton, near Streatham. AND I forgot to include myself and the GPS in the photo (sorry). I note that another Nerrin Nerrin has been logged, but it is a very long way away (near Canberra), so it must be the sort of name that is so nice they used it twice.
I took this photo while going a on a bike ride with my dad, after scrolling throught the logs I see Grahame Cookie has logged the school already but this is a different sign located on the pacific hwy north of taree

Dungdung is much nicer than the name might suggest. In fact it is a picturesque little village in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan at 2875m above sea level. That's me in the picture with the GPS firmly attached to the handlebars of the venerable Royal Enfield motorcycle that took me across the eastern Himalaya. Near Lake George, the Federal Highway crosses Nerrin Nerrin Creek. I had a bit of *fun* walking down the edge of the highway from the nearest rest area, with the traffic whizzing past at 110kph. I guess that's why no one has logged this spot before.
Thanks Mix.

After a good caching and camping holiday down south, my friends recommended Central Tilba as a definite must-see - and i agree.
Enough rhymes. As we drove toward Tilba, we first crossed through TILBA TILBA and was happy to snap a photo of myself next to the roadsign with my confused friends.

I cross Bom Bom Creek regularly but don't usually have time to stop. South of Grafton on the Pacific Hwy. We snapped this one on the way to a day out fishing in beautiful Wooli.
I work in a business located in Paw Paw Road, Brooklyn in the industrial western suburbs of Melbourne. Occasionally I am asked for the address and this usually results in a further question on how to spell it. Traditionally the answer has been ‘as in the fruit’ until some clown suggested ‘half a dog’.

I took this photo while visiting Libya in March/April 2006. I was there to view a 4 minute total solar eclipse in the Sahara Desert. This photo shows a Nissan ‘Maxima Maxima’ that is parked just inside the entrance to the magnificent Sabratha Ruins, 66km west of Tripoli. The two identical badges on this car did catch my eye, but I mainly took this photo to show the piece of wood that is hung from bumper bars to ward off evil.
Now, I know that submitting this photo may not qualify it to be a 'find' as such (because I'm not in the photo with my GPSr), but I thought it would be more interesting that looking up the Melways to find a local double named street! This photo was taken before I had discovered Geocaching. I'd be happy to make this log a note if the owner requests...

Regards, 38 degrees south.

Out caching round ballarat when I came across Gong Gong reservoir park.
While doing a spot of caching on our way to visiting parents in the Fassifern Valley, we came across Obum Obum. The origin of the name is not known, however the owner of the hills and adjacent land had named his property 'Obum Obum' prior to 1895. The Obum Obum school was opened in 1899 and surprisingly, the name was not popular with some parents! We found this sign across the road from a cemetary - maybe Obum Obum were the last thoughts of some of the residents.
Doon Doon is a small community with a modern roadhouse on the Great Northern Highway south of Wyndham - in the middle of nowhere. The aboriginal community running this roadhouse was the first aboriginal community in the state to achieve Foodsafe Accreditation.
wangi wangi...in the daytime...
I hope this is passable.

not much here besides a school and a couple of houses ... with the Bruce Highway running right through it ... but going past at 100kmhr, blink and you will miss it

Origin of name: WOY WOY - The big lagoon.
This spot was so well liked they named it not twice but three times on this sign. This cache marks our 200th find. Thanks for the cache.

1745 On the way to Toronto for Asho's 60th birthday party Mrs C said, "Why not get WANGI WANGI for a cache?" So we tried; but you will have to take her word that that is my head and buttons of my shirt - as the flash only caught the sign.
I found this lovely little rest stop on the Stuart Highway when I was travelling from Alice Springs back to Adelaide. It's called the Bon Bon Rest stop. I'd like to say it was a cracker but that might be stretching it a little
It did have clean toilets though and some nice shade to park the car under.
Tried to at least get my hand into the phot (with GPS) but for some reason that bits a little brurry!
Cheers

Noticed this one just after doing the 'family reunion' cache nearby.

Gin Gin is a delightful, historic town located 83km north of Perth,it is one of the oldest towns in Western Australia. Today it retains much of its antiquity being an absolutely delightful and quaint township with a substantial number of historical buildings, an excellent old pub, and lazy, tree-lined Gingin Brook running through the heart of the settlement. Nestled into the valleys to the north of Perth, it is the ideal distance from the capital for a pleasant day trip and a lovely place for a cache.
