Description

What a view!

This cache entices you to a place that often gets skipped on people's trips to the peninsula, yet in our opinion is a must-see sight!

If you are here after a  bit of rain, you will be treaded to an unforgettable scene!

There are some good walks nearby (including a 7 hour one-way walk to Fortescue Bay and a walk to Tasman Arch)

You do NOT need to go into the scrub for this cache, there is a small 'path' leading to it. DO NOT CROSS ANY FENCES!

Cache is a cammo 2 ltr Sistema, chock full of interesting swaps (Hopefully the cache isn't discovered by others).

We hope you enjoy the views from here!

It was a rather rough ride into the Waterfall Bay carpark. Once there we were able to make a quick find. We were surprised, however, that the previous find was in October last year - we thought that more cachers would have visted the area and enjoyed the stunning views of the coastline. TFTC

Found on our 30th Wedding Anniversary, heading to the Tasman Peninsula and picking up some caches on the way. A spectacular view, we were fortunate enough to see a waterfall, would be amazing in winter. A muggle had made an entry that made us laugh, will upload a photo. Found cache uncovered so rehid with more bark. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

A quick find at a magnificent site that we would never have visited without caching. Our favourite cache for the day and well worth the side trip.. The last finder was a muggle who thought he had stumbles on someon'es hidden 'pot stash'. That was amusing. Thanks.

This one wasn't on my list of caches to get today but decieded to give it a go anyway and was well worth the detour. TFTC

Loved this cache! I've been meaning to do this one for years, and only just got around to it. Now I know it is here I will have to come when it's been raining to get the full effect of that most impressive waterfall! Easy find, thanks CraigRat!!!

Found at 1715hrs as my fourth cache find. I live locally and GCshing is very interesting in this area. Have an interest in fungi photography and found some good specimens. Cache is still in good order Cheers OldSaint

This did seem to be an overlooked bit of the coast. I didn't meet anyone during my walk Surprised
I did meet an echidna though Smile
But it is truly the views that make this a memorable stroll.
Each lookout is a new wonder of coastal scenery.
The 'other Tasman Arch' is more spectacular than the original near the start of the track.
At the end of the walk the waterfall appeared. It was just a trickle despite the drizzly weather. But still beautiful to look at.
A quick side trip brought me to the cache's hidey hole and after a circuit of the area I found it after walking the green carpet.
The box is chock full of goodies and in excellent condition.
TFTC and excellent adventure.

Heh! The last time I was here was in October, 1986. With Gorbak, no less! I have a heap of photos... Smile

Great Spot, Great views; a special spot with a good cache to compliment it!

Visited with SG-3 and a potential convert who has a shack near the beginning of the road. Cache still in good shape.

Found by Facitman and the Facit Family at 11:35
This location was on Mrs Facit's visit list even without a cache. We quickly found the cache before setting off on the walk to Waterfall Bluff, a lovely walk with spectacular views and sheer drops 200m below. Both Facitman and s-facit find the heights disturbing so we kept well clear of the edge. Returned via the waterfall path which was very steep and way too close to the edge for Facitman's liking but allowed you to walk up the creek past all three falls, including crossing the Shower Falls under an overhang behind the water. Very cool!
Took Colourful Bear
Left Juggling Balls
Thanks CraigRat for a great location

Such a beautiful spot! I had to keep reminding Lottie that it was her fault we couldn't walk to this one from The Tasman Arch. I went and logged the cache while the hubby stayed in the cacheWagon with the canine member of our team. Then we swapped out so the hubby could have a look at the view. And it is a view you don't only see - you HEAR it!

thank you for another classic cache, CraigRat.

Dad found this one after a short search. I like this lookout. The cliffs are really high - I don't think I could climb those.
Thanks CraigRat.

Second stop on the Boys Day Out on the peninsula.
Finally arrived near GZ - muggle tourists insisted on travelling at 70kph in the 100 zone!
I was going to log 2TB's and a coin through this cache but I can't!
TNLN, thanks CraigRat

We weren't lucky enough to have any rain, but there was a hell of alot of wind. I don't think that was ever going to produce the desired falling water effect though.
Coords were spot on. But a warning: there's alot of "paper" lying around the place. Watch your step.
Great views.
Thanks for showing them to us, Craigrat.

Last find of our little break. Great view from the top but if you get the chance, take a cruise and check it out from below. Truly awesome from the sea. Left Australia Games medallion.

Our last find today and a great one to finish with.
Walked past here a few times before but today we were lazy and just drove right to it.
Lots of photos later we were off again but with such great tracks and tremendous views I know we will be back!
Thanks Craigrat! Took Sports Whistle, Left Key Finder

A few nights ago I was looking in my walks book trying to decide on a good place to go for a nice day walk. Decided the one from Waterfall Bay sounded excellent. Quite surprised when I saw that there was a cache there the next day! Even better! After arriving at the car park, found the cache fairly easily, the hint sorts it all out. Another set of coords to try might be S43 03.480 E147 56.835 (but I didn't have 5 GPSrs to do them...(!!) From there I walked up to Camp Falls, then a circuit to the top of Clemes Peak and back. Back at Camp Falls we went down a bit to Shower Falls where the track actually goes behind the falls:very nifty, and then out to where the waterfall (that you look at from the carpark) cascades over the precipice out to the sea. Scary viewing! It was a fantastic walk - just amazing! Made better by a cache there, thanks so much Craigrat! Great swaps, took lego, left soft toy and squirty badge I think, and signed log.

If possible, could the next to find please get a good set of co-ords for me and I'll update the cache accordingly!

A bit windy but clear and as usual for this area stunning views. Well worth the visit. Cache may be a bit away from coordinates so hint is needed. Took sticky notes and left glue stick and fishing rig.
Thanks Craig Rat
