An then the cache container itself. Muggle Hubby once again inspected your workmanship.
Took nothing but the memories and the plans to make a similar one, and left behind our names on the log, happy memories and a recommendation
I was saving this cache for another dz trophy but due to this being dz pts madness week, thought I'd grab it today.
Haven't been here since all the walkways have been established...they have done an excellent job.
Didn't take long to gather the interesting info then off to gz.
Very accurate coords...ph reading less than 1m...led to a very nifty and muggle proof hide.
Many thanks for another excellent cache and location...thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
This is the sort of cache that you wish all caches were like....an interesting area and topic combined with s great hide.
Thanks Sharnie's Tribe....another fav point for the all the fun.... Outstanding and Recommended
We were quite impressed with the elaborate viewing platform that has been built here. It's a lot better than the old set up. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year to check out the fairy penguins, but we have seen plenty of them over the years so that wasn't really an issue.
Thanks, an interesting place to visit and the cache gave us a reason to stop and check out the developments here.
Last cache of the three day trip
Every time you visit this location you learn some thing new
Info gleaned, a short walk and the cache was to hand
Sainted at 1415 hours
Now back to the good end of the island
TFTC and cheers

After seeing our son, daughter-in-law and grand daughters off to Launceston this morning we printed the info needed for this cache and headed east.
There were no other cars in the car park so we had the viewing platform to our selves. After one false start we collected the data and calculated the final destination. Meanwhile another couple had arrived and headed down the path. We followed and our GPS indicated that they were standing in front of the hiding place. After a short chat we walked down to the edge of the water and they walked back to the viewing area. We were then able to search for the cache. The well hidden and beautifully constructed hide was soon located and the log signed. We then enjoyed the recent redevelopment of the area that has improved access and made the viewing area bigger and more comfortably able to hold the large numbers of visitors that the area gets at this time of the year.
A great place for a cache! Thanks for this multi Sharnie's Tribe.
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and will be able to claim this find against one of the scavenges.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a virtual verbosity trophy. TFTM

Heading home after a full day’s caching the notification came through for this cache, stopped and gathered the required information and soon had co ordinates in hand. A quick find despite the quality of the hide. Joint [*FTF*] with whitewebbs @ 18.10 hrs.
Many thanks Sharnie’s Tribe for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience.
