Description
A good walk in Narawntapu National Park.
The cache is located a short way up Windfred Creek, which runs into Copper Cove, bounded by Little Badger Head and Badger Head. Windfred creek has a series of lovely rock pools and small waterfalls where water is often available to fill your waterbottle.
Copper cove itself is a very interesting place to explore, with bright orange rocks, lovely 'rock gardens', and an abundance of interesting driftwood. A walk to the North-East end of Copper Cove is well worth a look, with evidence of the Copper mining that occured here on a small scale.
The walk from the Ranger Station takes you past the track up to Archers Knob and the cache ' Archers Grassy Rest' GC1E4R4, along part of the 7Km long Bakers Beach, up and over Little Badger Head, down into the secluded Copper Cove.
Roughly allow 3 hrs return if just going to cache and back, additional 1hr for sidetrip to Archers Knob, additional 1hr if returning to Bakers Beach from Copper Cove via shoreline of Little Badger Head, and additional 30mins if walking the majority of Bakers Beach back to carpark. Additional time should be added if exploring Copper Cove.
Cache is a Black 1Lt Sistema, and at time of placing contained
Log book and pencil, anti-mosquito bracelet, pocket can openers, waterproof matches, waterproof Flyfishing booklet, 2*AA Bateries, 3*Bushwalkers whistles, Note pad.

Logs
It was difficult to follow the path for the first couple of kms as it was swarming with those little pademelons.
Cute aren't they
After a short detour to Archer's Knob along the way, I continued over the hills and past some magnificent coastal views untill the cove was in sight.
A quick bounce along the creek and the cache was found hiding behind its rock. No ants anywhere
The round trip with detours took 4 hours.
I didn't see one wallaby on the return trip. They were no doubt hiding in the shade by now in the mid morning heat.
TFTC and exercise.
