Description

The ABC: ABC Central Coast

92.5 ABC Central Coast is an ABC Local Radio station based at Erina in Gosford and broadcasting to the Central Coast region in New South Wales. The transmission area of the station stretches from Woy Woy to The Entrance. The signal is notoriously weak in many valley areas of the region. Station has moved to Donnison Street Gosford and is no longer in the Erina Fair shopping centre

The station official callsign is 2BL/T reflecting its function as an opt-out service of 702 ABC Sydney. The station commenced broadcasting in 2003 on the frequency of 92.5 FM. S The station has a modern glass walled broadcast and production studio inside the regional shopping centre Erina Fair, which has led to the nickname, The Fish Bowl. Lending itself well to live interviews and music the station broadcasts mainly local and regional content. The station has a part-time radio journalist position attached to it and is the designated emergency broadcaster for the region.

This is the first time I log on Geocaching Australia. A few days ago I was having a look at the website and noticed this cache. Yesterday I got the chance to take a picture of the ABC and I'm posting it today.

I happened to be caught at the traffic lights outside the studio here this morning while doing a few errands around Gosford, so took the opportunity to grab the photo needed to log this cache as a find.

A First To Find! Went to Woolworths for some shopping errands and of course went for a quick stroll around Kibble Park as it is a hotbed of Pokemon Go activity (something like 4 pokegyms near each other and a bunch of pokestops too). If you think it odd to see geocachers pop up in odd locations, you should check out Gosford CBD when there's a pokemon event on! People everywhere on their phones, going back and forth, talking shiny pokemon etc. I get into it too! Very Happy

And today I saw a 'raid' for "Moltres" in Kibble Park, a few people nearby were talking pokemon and a few other cars pulled up. So I quietly joined in and bagged a Moltres (it's like this flying phoenix-style legendary fire pokemon). I then remembered this virtual cache so go a photo of myself in front (nothing suss) squinting in the sun. I remember this used to be Marintime Services, I went in their once to get a boating license, which I used about once Embarassed

. Then I wondered over to hang out in front of the courthouse for the pokemon gym there (nothing suss haha!) Then off shopping then home to a happy wife Very Happy
